We've been in two schools - neither of which had a toxic parent who played a role in controlling the school or teacher. That being said - there are toxic parents at every school. The ones that think their child is the best dancer and aren't supportive of anyone else. Worse than the toxic parents, there are toxic situations at every school - things you can't imagine that even go on. Things you couldn't anticipate. If there isn't a toxic parent, there will be a toxic something. You have to pick your poison in this sport.
