 This absolutely the right the thing to do. He has to accept his punishment and correction and submit to it. The Bible is clear on that. Bad behavior in church, just like at home, merits the Rod of Correction. By 12/13 he should know better, a vist to the church spanking room was required. Great that your church keeps and uses a Biblical Rod in there. We need more churches to take that line on a Sunday. Mine would get another dose when we got home for letting the family down.
