Nicole won the first round. We decided to make it best two out of three. Second being an uphill race. I came in second on that round, but still ahead of Vince. We decided that the third would be down the really steep side of one of the hills we all knew about, but rarely ever tried to daredevil.

"Dead Man's Trail" we called it!

Also we couldn't all five go down it at the same time. So we had to take our bikes down one at a time, with Barbara timing us at the bottom to decide who did it the fastest.

Roddy crashed and sprang his wrist. He had to go to the emergency room, and that ended our racing for the day. Only Nicole, Half-Brother, and I got a chance to go all the way down the trail.

Also, if I remember right, that was the time that I broke three of the spokes out of my front wheel.
