To those who were paddled, or otherwise spanked at school, how often did you get spanked?

My memory is of course not perfect, but I remember handful of spankings (by hand) in first grade, once in second grade, twice in 4th grade, once in 5th grade, once in 8th grade, once in 9th grade, and finally once in my senior year.

I was a generally well behaved student, but I wasn’t the teachers pet either. I think the number of times I was paddled was average, maybe slightly above average.
