Lots of movie stars/famous people have written about being spanked growing up.
One, I can't recall her name, talked about frequent bare bottom carpet beater spankings well into her older teens. She didn't specify any witnesses but remembered the embarrassment of walking through the house bare bottomed to fetch the carpet beater, which she said "was used on my bottom much more than on carpets."

And the singer Debbie Boone describes bare bottom spankings thru teen years for her and her 3 sisters with hand/various implements and often in front of each other.
