I guess the right answer here would be "sometimes". Sometimes I'd get away with things that would get me spanked other times.

There's a few things that would get me one real quick. Yelling at them, throwing temper tantrums, getting caught in a lie. Probably a few more that I can't remember right now. Most other bad behavior I'd get very clear warnings when I was getting close to one.

Nope. When they decided it was time for a spanking, that's what happened.

Of course. Sometimes when I was real young, I'd go run outside around the house. Later on I'd do things like lock myself in the bathroom for a while. Just made things worse, as you can imagine.
