We would get put to bed early with a spanking quite frequently but would be fed early too I remember crying myself to sleep this happened more between ages 5 and 10 . We also got spankings for having lights on talking or reading after bedtime when our parents checked the roooms I had my own room so it would be reading my two younger sisters shared a room so they got a spanking every once in while for talking after bedtime
