Comics being a source of intense curiosity for me too and not being yet familiar with the submissive position, I was indeed rather surprised by the lack of resistance from the recipients.
Until I finally found myself over my 1.75 tall mother's knee and submitted to the threat of not being able to sit down, should I dare struggle too much. It suddenly made sense then...
