My mom had two levels of spankings. I don't count the warning swats as one of these levels since it were just warning swats.

So level one was basically a regular spanking which was only by hand and just around a dozen or so swats on the bare bottom.

Then there was Level 2 which was what she called a serious spanking which my mom used the paddle and I really hated that paddle.
