I have always been fascinated by the idea of having less and more serious spankings for different types of offenses. The most interesting to me has always been the idea that some things earn a spanking, whereas more serious behaviors earn a bare bottom spanking. That idea that a bare bottom spanking is reserved for more serious offenses is central to my adult interest. As a kid, I feel as though I may have been subject to this concept for some length of time. I can only remember one bare bottom spanking, for hitting my sister, and I am sure that one was given bare bottom as a way of making the punishment more serious and memorable.
