Teachers had to use the school issued paddles at our Christian school the paddles were very effective the public schools had a choice and no classroom spankings and up to 5 swats we were up to 8 swats tears happened a lot and boy or girl it got you made fun up by other girls in my case and had to sit down enhanced the example for other students of going to the hallway or to the office
