Thank you Sonya for sharing your experience in such detail. What a day that was for you and a lesson you never did forget. It sounds like you were not a delinquent. It was a bad decision on that one day. You were just two adventurous tomboys. You put yourself in a dangerous situation and then lied about it. Knowing a spanking could be coming gave you an understandable reason to lie. Very young kids do stuff that is not always so smart.

It is good that you never broke the law again. Some people would say that spankings when you were a young child kept you out of serious trouble when you were a teenager. In my experience, it did not work that way.
