though spanking was still pretty common at the time I was a child it was always done in private only two times I have witnessed some one get smacked one time it was my brother during a summervication kept getting out of bed and dad spanked him and one time I was at a sleep over with a friend dont know what he said to his mom but as he was walking down to his room where I said his mom game and smacked his bottom two times with her hand infront me he cried for few minuts but guess what it made me behave better during sleepover I did not want to be next
