Hey Mitch like you I was mostly smacked in a common area of the house, but did cop the "mirror" once.
Having a feud with parents i stormed into my room and yelled insults at them from the "safety" of my room

Wrong move! Dad came in and set me straight. I was made to bend over the desk in my room which meant looking directly into a large mirror.

Could very much see Dad repeatedly raising his hand and bringing it down with huge smacks. But worse i was looking straight at my own face which had pain etched on it with tears flowing.

Crying itself wasnt unusual, watching it first hand as the spanking happened very much was!
