We were typically scolded after our spanking as we were doing our corner time! We would stand in the corner with our hands on our heads and were forbidden to move our hands from that position and strictly forbidden to rub our burning butts. It was thought that, with exemplary justification, that the scolding would be even more effective if as we listened to it and answered any questions put to us with an obligatory "yes Sir/Ma'am!!" or "No Sir/Ma'am!!", with a crimson, hot, throbbing and hurting bottom! With our scorched buttocks glowing brightly and radiating a pulsating, prickly heat the scolding certainly got its point across! And we heard every word and syllable that was uttered believe me!
