The usually 60 minutes of corner time you were subjected to compunded your misery for sure. All you wanted to do after a spanking was curl up on your bed and try to comfort yourself both physically and emotionally as best you could. Spankings were 'events' that dominated the day on which you got them. (Sometimes even the day(s) after a spanking it would be in the forefront of your mind) Once allowed to flee to your bedroom you would be preoccupied with trying assuage the tender, delicate state of your bottom. And also you would try and compose yourself after your traumatic ordeal! Yes, indeed, the effect of a spanking were felt long after the punishment itself and left its mark in more ways than one!
