I never got caned. Although it came close once. I got a single swat with the pointer one of my teachers had. Romana and I were chatting too much during class and she called us up and gave us each one sharp swat each telling us to be quiet or she'd wear us out. We were both wearing jeans but it still left a mark for a few hours.

I guess the closest I came to what you're talking about though was when my Granny whipped me with a willow switch. I was six and she got mad at me and accused me of "sassing" her. She took me to the back yard, broke off a willow switch and after stripping the leaves off, made me take off my shorts and panties and held me by one arm while she whipped hell out of me. I had welts on my back, butt, both the front and backs of my legs and a few on my right arm.

Fortunately she didn't draw blood, but I had welts for several days. I couldn't imagine how bad a caning would be on the bare butt. I'm glad I never found out.
