yes, more ways then 1. I started elementary school in 1988, 1 year after school paddlings were outlawed in my province. Teachers knew parents would still spank for bad behaviour so we would not only get detention we would get a note telling our folks to paddle us before sending us back to school. If it was for academic reasons then i would get paddled by my mom and whipped by my dad and then i would get a 2nd one from both at bedtime. If it was non academic it would be at bedtime. I would bring the letter back signed and they would call my folks to make sure i was telling the truth.
