Easy or hard are relative terms. Most of the spankings I got from Momma were by hand, but sometimes she'd use the hairbrush instead. Those spankings seemed harder but In retrospect I believe I was more intimidated by hairbrush spankings than anything else. To be totally truthful, I think Momma held back a little more when using the hairbrush. Because she didn't want to leave bruises. In fact, when I got licks from the Gym Coach for fighting with another girl. Momma had intended to spank me with the hairbrush, but she saw there was a bruise on one cheek and put the brush down and spanked me by hand. The spanking stung but compared to the usual spankings, it wasn't all that bad and thankfully she only spanked on the cheek that wasn't bruised. Just a few quick smacks on the other cheek and it was over.

All the spankings I got from my folks, not one time did they ever leave a bruise and in fact, even the redness faded after a few hours.
