My stepmom, Carrie, would sometimes, on a Sunday - which was our usual bathnight - if I had got in trouble earlier in the day, postspone my spanking till after my bath. Since she maintained that, with justification, the skin on my buttocks was even more soft and sensitive than it usually was! Making the spanking hurt even more than it usually did!

I bet you were glad that your father did not give you a second spanking, James! I know that from those occasions that I got a second spanking not long after the first one the pain level was unbelievable! Being spanked on an already hot, sore and tender botton which is still hurting is something you really do not want to experience!!!! Your bottom hurts so, so, so bad!!!! Sitting down comfortably for two or three days afterwards is not an option!

I like your Mom's euphemism for a spanking; "clear the air!"
