Yeah, no, when I got my bare butt spanked, I was too young to care about modesty. Kids deserve dignity just as you or I do, though. Never got the sense that anyone did that to embarrass me or anyone else getting spanked.

Corey, I don't know, of course, up to what age your parents punished you with spankings. But I can assure you that at around 11 or 12, I entered a phase where I would have preferred to endure double the punishment rather than have to bare my bottom. And in my family, this adolescent shame was definitely used to make the punishment more severe.
