Recently, I worked in a house. A woman opened the door for me and led me to a room on the first floor. It was the daughter's room. The girl was lying on the bed, wearing only underwear, and playing with her smartphone. She even said hello to me nicely. I then repaired the window. While doing so, I would occasionally glance over at her. It didn't seem to bother her. Eventually, the mother came back and scolded her because she should have already gone to take a shower. I deliberately took a few more minutes. Shortly afterward, the girl returned, this time with wet hair and wearing a bathrobe.

My sister and me once did something similar. I was ten and she was seven when a gas fitter came to fit a new boiler. I was only brave enough to stand watching in just my panties but my sister was totally nude.

Helen, What year was this? How did this gas fitter react? Did you do it this way on purpose to get a reaction out of him?

When I was a boy, I played with another boy next door and in summer we played in just shorts, briefs, or nothing if using a pool.
We lived in a heavily wooded area around large oak trees and we having some to close to a house cut down. The guy citting down trees with a dump truck, came with a daughter our age of about 8 or 9. We were a bit surprised when girl stripped down to panties and played with us as it was normally a boy thing to do that.

It was adifferent times and I was too little to understand much, but it was as though a few cultural norms were ending and some were clashing at that time. Kids were free ranging and boiys had more freedom.
We had a local town park with a kids pool and on quiet weekdays in summer boys used the kids pool naked like you mentioned. No one said a word but it was customary for boys over 12 to wear suits.
If it was a backyard pool day at my friends house, we generally did not get dressed that day. We did other things naked in summer but will leaver it at that. Just a better time perhaps to be a kid.
