This is making a good case for my boys being nude much more often. Today I took them swimming at the indoor pool and they were the only boys in the changing are They were getting all the attention and being asked about school and what the do for fun that they didn't notice they were standing around naked for almost 30 min. One of the adults was even kind enough to point that my middle son needs more water because you could see the imprint from the band of his undies around hus waist.

Sounds like they were enjoying the view, and making it last as long as possible by asking them questions to distract them from realizing their state....or was I reading that wrong?

I am sure that was part of it, usually we go to the pool this early in the day but with it being too cold for the boys to play outside for very long we switched to the pool so they can get plenty of activity. Usually if we go later is busier, especially on the weekends, and everyone is kind of in their own world in the change area. But my boys definitely forgot they were naked, but I guess it just proves that boys will get comfortable being naked fairly quick in an environment where its required.

I'll admit I was one of those boys. Off the beaten path Florida was way different than it was today. In 1979 August Florida, I was ten years old, sitting in the back of our station wagon. I didn't have any clothes on. I had taken my swim trunks off earlier because they were wet and sandy, and I was just sitting on the plastic seat.
Mom would go into a Texaco gas station. She handed me a dollar and some change over the seat and I would get cokes and ice naked outside, pay for them and stay naked whole time. Under 12 was unofficially Ok for boys to still do this. The air conditioning felt good in store not in car. I walked up to the counter holding the ice against my chest. The clerk was a young woman reading a magazine. She didn't look surprised to see a naked kid. He just waited for me to get the drinks. I walked to the back fridge, grabbed two Cokes, and walked back to the front. There was a couple looking at maps in the corner. She glanced at me, but didn't say anything.
Another experience was to just walk over to friends house naked as I was using his pool. I would stay over and walk home at 10 naked after having pancake with him as well. Girls at pool never did this other than underwear soemtimes.
