In reply to: spelvin 's message, "Why should boys be stripped?" on 07:21:05 11/20/25 Thu

When I was in the eighth grade, one of my teachers said--in front of the whole class--
"I'm not worried about Spelvin, I understand he's doing a lot better this year."
That made me feel like two cents.
I was shocked to realize that the teacher was SUPPOSED to be worried about me!
That goes to prove that a double negative doesn't always equal a positive.

I imagine that Joe had similar feelings when he was growing up. In his message of February 12, 2025, he wrote:

"Nothing more infantalizing than being told you have nothing to hide.
"I remember being told it many times, especially when I was a bit older, as my underwear came down, wet trunks came off, or PJ bottoms came down."

Instead of saying that a boy has nothing to hide,
what will happen if we say that he has everything to show?

It looks like Tor has the answer to this question.
On May 10, 2025, he wrote:

"I was told boys being naked in summer was a gift you give the girls.
"If any other boy did I was told to join them. till even 14. "We would even ride in car naked to beach back then.

"Another boy I grew up with younger than me would not wear clothes at home all summer. I would join him often.
"His sister was my age but I never felt embarrassed."

A male duck who sees only male ducks after hatching would accept only male ducks as mating partners.
The reverse is true of female ducks. (Money & Ehrenhardt 1972: 177-178)

In our own species, then, we can prevent and treat Lesbianism in girls by presenting them with a generous view of male anatomy.
