In reply to: M 's message, "benefits of raising kids nude?" on 09:22:54 01/19/26 Mon

Just one word: you and your spouse go nude too.

----If child sees only peers who are nude or immodestly dressed, that child will think nudity or immodesty is a mark of immaturity.

In 2019, Joe wrote to the Voy forum 233876, which is now off-line, that he participated in a nude swim team.
He complained that “our bare bottoms could always be swatted. We were still ‘little boys’ who needed to learn how to behave and needed more care.”

In 2020, during the coronavirus quarantine, 13-year-old James wrote to the same forum that his parents forced him to stay naked.
Their stated reason was a wish to cut expenses from using of the washing machine.
James was unwilling to comply, partly because he was physically immature.
James’ parents were insensitive to his feelings of immaturity.
His mother insisted that he was “still her baby.”
Both parents teased him by pinching and slapping his rump. When he erected, both parents poked and tickled his penis.

----However, if a child sees older juveniles or adults who are nude or immodestly dressed, that child will NOT think nudity or immodesty is a mark of immaturity.

When the Olympics were held in London in 2012, a group of school girls were impressed by the sight of women athletes wearing halter tops and shorts.
They campaigned unsuccessfully for permission for similar freedom in phys ed class (Claire 2018).

James (2014) grew up in Great Britain in the 80’s.
Hehe saw shirtless men washing cars, mowing lawns, painting houses, and playing football. He specifically remembers a shirtless passenger on a 15-mile railroad trip.
Consequently, this British lad enjoyed riding his bike in warm weather, wearing only a swim suit.

Spelvin is a dedicated historical archivist of recreational and institutional nudity. Nothing insane about that. History not preserved is history lost.

If this offends you, maybe you should stick to shallow, vapid videos of overly made up women on Instagram.

What’s this noise about boys going to school wearing skirts?
I don’t remember mentioning the subject,
and I don’t remember NU mentioning the subject.
I want boys to go to school nude, not transvested.

Anyway, since you brought up the subject, here’s a good story:

Until 2017, students were not allowed to wear shorts at ISCA Academy, a mixed secondary school in Exeter, Devon in the United Kingdom.
During a summer heat wave, a boy complained to the head teacher, who sarcastically responded, “Well, you can wear a skirt if you like.”

The next day, 5 boys did exactly that.
Subsequently, some of their male classmates followed suit, borrowing skirts from their sisters and their girlfriends. The protest grew to 30 students by one estimate (Morris 2017), or 50 by another estimate (Horton 2017).
Only one student was reprimanded, and only because his skirt was too short. In response to the protest, the school revised its dress code.

I’m always delighted when students win a protest.
I wished I had more power when I was growing up, so it gives me vicarious satisfaction.
For that matter, I am always delighted when children get any kind of benefit which I had missed when I was growing up.
I wanted nudity, so I like for children to enjoy nudity.
I didn’t want sex, so I don’t want for children to have sex.

Horton, H. 2017. Victory for boys who wore skirts in protest as school introduces shorts into summer uniform. The Telegraph (June 23). https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/06/23/school-boys-wore-skirts-protest-introduce-shorts-summer-uniform/

Morris, S. 2017. Teenage boys wear skirts to school to protest against 'no shorts' policy. The Guardian (June 22). https://www.theguardian.com/education/2017/jun/22/teenage-boys-wear-skirts-to-school-protest-no-shcy. Every time a person says he doesn't believe in naked boys,
a naked boy dies.

That means that every time a troll posts a message on this board,
a pond on the edge of town gets bulldozed over,
a European movie gets censored,
or a 10-storey tourist hotel goes up on a tropical island.

But if we all clap our hands,
a naked boy somewhere will hear us.
