Subject: benefits of raising kids nude? Author: M [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09:22:54 01/19/26 Mon Author Host/IP: 76.113.145.227 I’m moving out to the countryside with my husband and two kids, one is a girl and one is a boy, the girl is 3 years old and the boy is just a few months, we also plan on having one or two more in the future. I’m considering to start raising them without clothes almost all of the time once we’re out there. Are there any benefits or drawbacks I should know about for any of my kids? I figured it could save on laundry and it would be okay since they’re just kids and have nothing to hide, and not many people would be around. Any thoughts would be appreciated! We’re moving in just a few days so I plan on letting my daughter know very soon that she’ll be expected to go without clothes most of the time once we move and that her little brother will join her when he’s out of diapers. Anyway, since you brought up the subject, here’s a good story: Until 2017, students were not allowed to wear shorts at ISCA Academy, a mixed secondary school in Exeter, Devon in the United Kingdom. During a summer heat wave, a boy complained to the head teacher, who sarcastically responded, “Well, you can wear a skirt if you like.” The next day, 5 boys did exactly that. Subsequently, some of their male classmates followed suit, borrowing skirts from their sisters and their girlfriends. The protest grew to 30 students by one estimate (Morris 2017), or 50 by another estimate (Horton 2017). Only one student was reprimanded, and only because his skirt was too short. In response to the protest, the school revised its dress code. I’m always delighted when students win a protest. I wished I had more power when I was growing up, so it gives me vicarious satisfaction. For that matter, I am always delighted when children get any kind of benefit which I had missed when I was growing up. I wanted nudity, so I like for children to enjoy nudity.
