I did sometimes and other boys did too.

Beside backyard it was fine for boys to play an ledge in lake in summer, and even a towwn park. I recall even riding bikes to each others house naked.

No one said a word as hippie was in and last generation did same thing.

Same experience here. We rarely wore clothes outside in the summer. It was normal to play naked out on the street or in a park, or to cycle naked around town or to each others houses.

That's a shame, I feel sorry for anyone who didn't get to experience the freedom of being naked and innocent.

Not wearing clothes was completely normal for us. My friends and I would play naked out on the street and in the local parks all summer. Climbing trees, playing football, wrestling, and so on. We would even go into shops naked to buy candy.

I was on other extreme where a boy being too shy to be naked was considered an issue at one time. I used to love to come home from school and take off clothes till dusk.
