I was a foster kid from 9 to 17. I had wonderful doting foster mom not able to have biological children and she kept me and girl. I also got a quarterly physical and visit every two months from social worker as a formality, and mom got a ton of food stamps. I am now in 10 percent earner so paying it back I guess. I would get in tub with girl and scrubbed head to toe often. The quarterly physicals back then always mentioned boys to have testes self exams. I never hear about it now. Was she a similar age to you and did she get exams as well? I was bathed with girls on my street and it was something normal for me although the concept seems to horrify people now. I also had regular exams from the health clinic, my school and my mum because I had what they called a constitutional delay entering adolescence, and they wanted to keep a close check to make sure I was developing properly overall, if slowly.
