I just read your other post on the "Mistaken for a Small Child" thread where you talk about your high school friend.
We're talking about a middle school classmate here, but I'm sure and I believe you when you say that "you totally understand" how embarrassed Francesco was.
Yes, her classmate stayed dressed. She hadn't expected to have to play water games and didn't have a change of clothes with her. She was too embarrassed not only to undress naked like the boys, but even to be in her underwear. Yes, by the end, she was wet, and her light-colored T-shirt had become semi-transparent, revealing the tiny bra she was wearing underneath. Her jeans were also wet, but obviously you couldn't see anything. She remained in the sun for a while after the games and, thanks partly to the sun and partly to the towel lent by my friend, when she got into the car to go home in the evening, she was almost dry.
On the drive home and then during his evening bath, we (Francesco and I) talked about what had happened.
Luckily, I have a great relationship with him, and he always tells me everything.
He confirmed to me that he was incredibly embarrassed when his classmate arrived in the courtyard of the house. That he was very angry with me because I hadn't let him put on his underwear. She asked him a lot of questions, about how he felt being naked in front of her, if he wasn't ashamed, if it was the first time or if he did it often to play naked with his brother and friends, she asked him several times to take his hand away to let her see his penis better. As he said this he blushed a little, but I told him not to worry. I told him that I had been very proud of him, that I was happy that in the end he had played naked with his classmate, behaving freely as when they were all boys.
I understood his embarrassment, but it was another step towards accepting nudity and it was like on the beach when we met girls and boys his age.
He said things were different with her, that in September they'd be in the same class every day again, and that he hoped she wouldn't tell her other classmates about what had happened. I told him I'd call the girl's mother. Unlike your classmate, he told me that she never tried to touch his private parts, but after he removed his hand from his penis to play more freely, more than once she moved very close to him to get a better look. In one of these, she noticed the small, short, sparse tufts of blond pubic hair crowning his small penis (which she hadn't noticed while they were playing) and commented: "WOW, Francesco! You have pubic hair! I never would have guessed! And your penis and balls are like Paolo's (my friend's 11-year-old son)..." which made him very embarrassed and made him blush. "But it's very cute, I didn't imagine it like that... please let me see a little better... Can I come closer?" she added, increasing his embarrassment.
But he also told me that in the end he was much less embarrassed, almost (but not quite) at ease. This confirms the impression I had expressed in my previous post: you prepubescent boys should always be naked at home and at the beach. Even in front of your sisters or female cousins/friends/classmates. This would boost your self-esteem, your physical and mental health, and promote harmonious development. At the cost of some initial embarrassment (or some particularly embarrassing occasions) but this would gradually diminish with practice.
Even though Francesco told me that the initial embarrassment was very great and he doesn't know if he would feel like seeing her again soon with him naked and her dressed...

How did the other three children react? Anyway, I thought the girl should be undressed too, so they were all equal.

I agree with you, the girl should have been undressed too and played naked with the other four boys; they should all have been the same.
If she had been my daughter, I would have made her undress. If we had been in my house, I would have tried to convince her mother that it was my house rule.
But since she wasn't my daughter and it was someone else's house, I didn't have much of a chance. I tried telling her, "Look how happy the boys are when they play naked," but it had no effect. Her mother actually told her to take off her clothes so she wouldn't get wet, but she didn't want to. When her T-shirt started to get really wet and become partially see-through, her mother repeated the invitation, but she insisted on staying dressed. So her mother gave up and didn't say anything else, and she stayed dressed until the evening.
How did the other three children react?
Paolo (my friend's 11-year-old son) was also very embarrassed. Then, after the girl's comment comparing his penis to Francesco's, his embarrassment increased even further. He and Francesco were the ones who most insisted that their mother and I let them wear underwear.
The two youngest, perhaps because of their age or perhaps because the girl was more interested in Francesco's penis (and secondarily Paolo's), were much more at ease. They immediately called their mother, too, covering their little penises with their hands. Then, reassured by us that everything was fine, they almost immediately removed them and went back to playing and running carefree, without ever covering themselves.

Paolo and his brother are always naked at their house and in the courtyard of their house on the hill. Every time I've seen them, they've always been naked; I don't think I've ever seen them dressed... lol...
At the beach, it's different. If the beach isn't crowded, then they're naked; if there are other children "as old as them" naked, then they're naked too. But they've never been the only ones naked on the beach, or the oldest ones, like my sons have been. Let's say they're "nudists," but not always. My kids are naked much more often than they are
