When we were at Lido di Dante, luckily there weren't many parents from the regular beach walking on the shore with their children in swimsuits. However, in fact, aside from the beautiful beach and pine forest, there are often people in bathing suits (and even parents with kids) who, while walking, enter the naturist area. And you're right, very often children stare much more than adults. When the kids who stare are about the same age as mine or are girls, then my two children are quite uncomfortable.
