This would have been 8 years ago. I was still basically a newlywed, and I wasn't pregnant with Ella yet, so I ended up drinking too much alcohol and acting a little tipsy... it was a little embarrassing. We ended up stopping at Target on the way to the hotel... when we got to the room, Ruben made sure I never did that again, that is for sure! He spanked my behind until it was red as a raspberry. The spoon worked well and he ended up keeping it in the trunk. The second time, it actually wasn't my own behind that ended up getting the spoon... Ella learned that unfortunately, rest stops in Missouri are perfectly suitable spanking locations when the family restroom is available, lol. She threw a pretty classic six year old tantrum and ended up spraying teddy grahams all over the dashboard while her daddy was driving. She was sitting on a sore red butt the whole rest of the way home by the time he was done. Amelia also learned that the very same thing can happen to her if she acts up while we are out and about, so it ended up being a learning moment for everyone!
