Myself and my siblings were spanked pretty much the same way I and my kids are spanked now: it wasn't considered a spanking if it wasn't on bare skin, and the same goes in our house! My husband uses mainly his hand and a small short wood paddle for me and my oldest, but still just uses his hand for my youngest.

As to how often... for me, maybe once every couple of months. Much more often for the girls obviously, lol. When I first got married, it was much more than that, but I definitely learned!

How often are you typically spanked?
