 The only way you will know is to experience it. I can think of two different ways to approach it. One is to keep giving your MiL reasons to want to punish you, and the other is to tell her you will accept spankings from her when you act immature. With the former, she might not take the hint. With the latter, she might think you want to be spanked and, therefore, it would not be an effective punishment for you.

If waiting for her to force it on you isn't working, then you must consider asking for it explicitly. Maybe you could find a way to talk to her about it without making it sound like it's your desire. For example, you could tell her you feel guilty about your irresponsibility in her house, but can't seem to motivate yourself to stay on schedule or do any housework. She should be able to figure out a way to provide the motivation, which you might find to be more uncomfortable than you imagined.
