Ok I agree 100%. Brittani is a gorgeous little girl, and her T/Ms are awesome but anyone can plainly see that that photo flat out sucks. Sorry but the retouching is terrible, I saw on bravo where it said there was hardly any retouching and I think that is BS, no one looks like playdough naturally. I don't know what all the hype is about billy the kid pics cuz I think they suck, they all look like playdough splattered on there with eyes, nose and mouth painted on.

On the other hand, Congrats to Brittani, you are a beautiful child and we are happy you won...just not with that pic.

Just a thought. BC does alot of Dawn's contests and usually does very well in them. She always signs C's banners (Dawn's son)and recently one of BC's banners was signed "Congrats to my future wife" love C. BC's mom obviously knows Dawn on a personal level. I think the child is pretty and I don't think people should bash her the way they do (rivalry?) but I do think it would be a wise idea for her mom to not enter contests where she knows the director on a personal level. It would save some of the bashing I think. BTW this goes for everyone, I don't think it's wise to enter a friend's contest.

I'm not sure what you mean in "doing very well in them", since Brittani entered Diamond Doll every single month since it opened and hasnt won once.. How many months is that ? I dont think she has ever won the big Supreme in Dolls for Dolls either.

As for them being "on a personal level" you must be joking right ? I know both of them and they've seen each other about 3 times, a year ago. Some personal level it is.

We see coaches entering their student's contests, or the other way around, and photographers entering their own daughters against their clients now THAT is COI.

OMG can you get a life.What the hell does MDF have to do with Dawns contests? She does not run MDF and Brittani has NEVER won Diamond Doll- Uforgettable Faces or a grand prize at Dolls for Dolls. Diamond Doll is running for 1 1/2 yrs now and as best I can remember she has entered every month. Some people love to talk about stuff they know nothing about!

I sign the banners as a way of congratulations not that we are all buddies but just a nice way for the kids to still acknowledge each other.If i stayed away from every contest I ever met a director or a child in I would not be allowed to enter 1/2 of them.

I think it's nice when people sign others banners! We aren't well known and have never met Brittani or her mom but she signs ours...of course, Brittani usually beats my daughter...LOL...
Alexus N. is another who does that, we've never met but she signs congrats for us. I think that is very sweet!

I think the post was meant to say there are people who like to pick on her and when there is a perceived coi it gives them a chance to try to justify it. As soon as a not so big name wins something big people jump on the it has to be fixed wagon. Even if BC's mom doesn't know the other director she needs to acknowledge that there is the perception that she does and when people are looking for a way to justify her child winning they are going to say stuff. For the record, I think BC is a cute kid. I think someone out there competes with her alot & doesn't like it. LOL.

yes BC is when she was competeing she was very good one of the best but then i heard she got sick and could not compete anymore until her series of operations were complete.Hope we will see her again on stage real soon:)

Good Directors are hard to fine. Why is that some people feel the need to bash directors after EVERY pageant? I have seen MANY good directors drop out in my years of pageants because of this. People are NEVER satisfied. I know that in some cases it can be a who knows who or name game but 99% of the time I honestly thing pageants are ligit and parents just cant handle the loss! And why is it that Natural moms feel the need to bash glitzy moms?? Its a free world and we all have our own opinions. But that doesnt mean you have to throw it up at someone everytime you dont agree with something. I went to a pageant this past weekend just to watch and the kids were having so much fun. But the moms were all too tense to even relax and enjoy the pageant! Maybe we can learn from our children. Lets make pageants fun again! FOR EVERYONE! -- What do you say?, 11/ 3/03 4:27pm

Her board is nothing but something she set up so she could see who bashed her daughter. She thinks she has pulls in pageants yet she can't get 10 entries in her photo contests that she keeps on opening and closing. She hasnt attended a pageant in years and she is hated in her area. What kind of pull can she have ?

I am sorry but I must admit I have NEVER been a big fan of SW's pictures and have quite honestly, quite often wondered how she won so many photo contests. I am NOT bashing this child, you will see that I did NOT say anything bad about her. I have just always thought her pictures were just okay and that others had way better pictures. Now with that said I must now eat crow because I have just seen one of the prettiest pictures that I have EVER EVER seen and OMG it belongs to SW. I've always liked Savanna's photos but this one is not my favorite, by far. Especially the black and white version because whoever turned the photo didnt realize it made the face out of focus. Even in the color, the position of her face and the sweater (one shouldered ?) gives me an urge to reach out and keep the child from falling.. LOL.. She has amazing photos and is definitely a favorite in this contest.

OMG so sad I wasted my $$$ and entered!! Way too many good pics for us to stand a chance. Really glad my kid ain't in 7-9 thought cause the grand is coming from there Rebecca or Hilary). I thought I had the grand pegged. I liked #4g Hilary the best of all pics entered and thought it was the grand hands down but OMG when I clicked on it to admire it I noticed the strangest thing with her teeth. I am not bashing here I still think that picture is good and the child looks gorgeous in it but I want to make sure this is not my eyes messing with me. Is there something wrong with her teeth? It looks like a bad mouthpeice or a bad touch up job it looks like one of her front teeth has a big chip in the top of it or like their is a big slanted line that didn't get filled in or the peice doesn't fit just right. Help is it just me seeing this?

Obviously, the face don't mean squat anymore. My gosh people do you think we are that stupid? When you say facial, then it becomes much more opinion based, and personal. If your child doesn't make it, then you know they didn't like your child's face, not the pic necessarily. Also, when it is facial, even though it falls more on opinion and an issue of taste and preference, the rest of us have eyes too and can clearly see when a contest is unjust. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and some can see better than others.lol but the rest of the world is not totally blind and in some cases you can tell it is not just an opinion, it is just wrong with no doubt.

it is your own fault. How Merry of a Christmas would they have had if you had attended the photo shoot? What kids wants pageant pictures taken for a Christmas gift? I mean you spent the money on the pics right? so even if you had them taken thats where the money would have gone. Not to christmas presents. sounds more to me you are just angry cause she canceled and are ruining her name because of it. I'm sorry I don't think BC is all that. This is not a bash to the child in ANYWAY. She is a pretty "pretty" not Gorgeous child. I think her photo's are very over rated. The reason why this child is getting bashed is her MOTHER.
Not only does she have a lousy attitude when she loses contests, but (and that's how it all started) she used to lie about her daughter's age when she entered her in pageants. I don't like Lorinda either, but who's wrong here ? The mom who entered her kid saying she was 2 years younger than she really was, or the one who caught and exposed it ?

When you lie about things like that there is a price to pay. It's just unfortunate her child is the one paying. Yes I know it's been a while since that happened but the mom never showed ANY remorse, instead she put all the blame on the persons who exposed her.

YES I know who she is! She is a lovely, funny, intelligent little girl who is 8 years old and will turn 9 this July. Her mother did something NOT her and it was FOUR years ago. After being honest and returning ALL prize money and titles she put her in her REAL age group and you know what? SHE KEPT WINNING! Thats what burns some of these momma's! They put her down for lying (which she shouldn't have done but its over now) and then they put her down for winning. She hasn't competed much in the past year but I just saw her a few weeks ago at a pageant and she still has it! Personality plus and the face to go with it!

Her mom entered my contest several times last year, when winners were posted and she didnt win she would post congratulations on the bravo board then email me and say, How could this photo beat ours ? Your contest is rigged, This child does not hold a candle to my child, where do you get your judges....

I hate that kind of doublefaced people ! And if she got lied and got caught too bad she shouldnt have been lying in the first place. That has nothing to do with the child. Who cares if people do it now, what matters is she did, and that shows what kind of values she has.

I don't know who BC is but it is under a prediction and only one child has a name that starts with a "B" so I went and looked and maybe she's not all that but in this contest she is. She is a pretty little girl with personality and while her photos may not always be the best, this time they are. Her photos are by far the best in that group and she is my choice for the win. If she ever deserved a win it is this one. She is overall the total package hands down winner IMO. Sounds to me like whoever posted that about her has a child in her group.

What bothers people about T&M is not the photo quality - yes their photos are very good and they do win a lot, but they depend a lot on their retoucher (so much, that they had to buy him so he wouldnt work for others). They have also copied photos/looks and believe me, when you pay $1000 for 2 prints and end up at the pageant to see 8 other kids with the exact same photo you are NOT happy.
This is not a one time occurence, this has happened to many, many moms who rarely have the guts to speak out.

Because what we moms hate about T&M is their attitude. They have thrown fits (and trophies) in ballrooms when their child didnt win, they have bashed kids on the web and at pageants, they have made up rumors about directors and parents they do not like, they made parents sign up for a pageant that was on the same date as theirs, instructing them to pull out at the very last minute so that the director would not be able to pay her winners... that's just a few of the REAL thing that they do. They will make your life HELL - literally - if you dare say anything that is not a praise about them. They will bash your kid on Bravo because their "friend" Missi DiGianni owns it and they can post whatever they want on it and not get banned.

Not to mention rig pageants for their clients.. you'll see in a couple weeks just how bad they can get.

In the 5 years they have been taking your child's pictures, they've had ample time to brainwash you.
Fortunately, some of us can see the real faces of Troy and Michael and they are not "fabulous".

Your original T&M pics probably won't stay original for long.. they're known for copying photos from A to Z for several children. Been there, done that. Worked my ass off to come up with a new original idea just to find it all around the US within a couple weeks.

ONE OF THE GRANDS LAST YEAR WAS HD, BUT THE OTHER WAS THO BIG PET AND THE ONLY CONTEST I REMEMBER SEEING HER ENTER. After all the hoopla about Toni pics only winning, then the grand was one of each. I don't know what you are talking about. I have only seen 2 big eyed kids and they are not bug eyed, just BIG eyed. They can't help it their eyes are just oversized but it sure must get them some big wins at pageants. They are the only kids that the judges sure see their eyes all the way from the stage. One only wins beauty/photo and overall beauty titles, but the other one wins grands all over the place. Both do well in online contests too. One is light blond and one is dark blond so you can guess who I am talking about. As far as the BUG eyed kids you talk about, I have not a clue who you are referring to.

But, would like to say that my child isn't competing at this time, but still likes to enter photo contests occasionally and we do use photos that are 1-2 years old. So, maybe she is one that you are referring to, LOL! But, when she isn't competing it's silly to get photos every 6 months if she doesn't need to. So, maybe the photos you are referring to are in the same predicament. And heck, I always heard as long as a photo is still winning, why retire it, LOL!!@

She has won or placed or been an optional winner in MANY contests since she got her new pictures. We are very pleased with the new photos and apparently the judges have been too. She has won supreme or division or optional titles in "The", Darling Images, Most Beautiful Faces, Starquest, Dolls For Dolls, Rainbow, Supermodels, etc. We entered Keri's contests BEFORE she joined the Real Deal. If you don't like the pictures then fine but she has won alot with them recently and we are very happy and her wins have nothing to do with Keri. The 3 contests that this child won, had a total of NINE DIFFERENT Judges, 1 of those judges was from the state of NY, and I highly doubt that he knew this child as he is a LOCAL photographer. And guess what that judge ONLY judged my FREE contest that month.

Fishy? no Coincidence, YES. If you would like to be picky about this here are the facts.

I have met this child once, at a pageant last year. Recently she was entered into 3 of my contests. Yes she won all 3, was this because of me? Not on your life, this child won because she had the face and the photo's that those judges LIKED that month. She entered again in one of them, you failed to mention she didn't win that time, why leave that out? Was it because of me? Not on your life, she just didn't have the look the judges liked that month.

You also failed to mention that all of this took place before I had even decided to get a coach for my daughter. We just joined the real deal LAST WEEK, and guess what? My daughter LOVED IT so we aren't going anywhere. This does not mean that The Real Deal kids can not enter my contests, and if they do it doesn't mean they will win.

If you have a problem with me, or the way I run my contests then you may feel free to say what you will about ME, I'm a big girl - I can take it, but I will NOT sit back and let you discredit this childs wins or any other child who may win in one of my contests. My contests have been and always will be FAIR and HONEST and if this scares you, then your entry will not be missed.

It's a new online photo contest that this director came up with. And NES isn't the only one who has a pageant Duo competition, I believe Elite Miss has one also as I'm sure more do too. I think this is such a cool idea and can't wait to see who pairs up for this photo contest!

Fishy? no Coincidence, YES. If you would like to be picky about this here are the facts.

I have met this child once, at a pageant last year. Recently she was entered into 3 of my contests. Yes she won all 3, was this because of me? Not on your life, this child won because she had the face and the photo's that those judges LIKED that month. She entered again in one of them, you failed to mention she didn't win that time, why leave that out? Was it because of me? Not on your life, she just didn't have the look the judges liked that month.

You also failed to mention that all of this took place before I had even decided to get a coach for my daughter. We just joined the real deal LAST WEEK, and guess what? My daughter LOVED IT so we aren't going anywhere. This does not mean that The Real Deal kids can not enter my contests, and if they do it doesn't mean they will win.

If you have a problem with me, or the way I run my contests then you may feel free to say what you will about ME, I'm a big girl - I can take it, but I will NOT sit back and let you discredit this childs wins or any other child who may win in one of my contests. My contests have been and always will be FAIR and HONEST and if this scares you, then your entry will not be missed.

It's a new online photo contest that this director came up with. And NES isn't the only one who has a pageant Duo competition, I believe Elite Miss has one also as I'm sure more do too. I think this is such a cool idea and can't wait to see who pairs up for this photo contest!

She has won or placed or been an optional winner in MANY contests since she got her new pictures. We are very pleased with the new photos and apparently the judges have been too. She has won supreme or division or optional titles in "The", Darling Images, Most Beautiful Faces, Starquest, Dolls For Dolls, Rainbow, Supermodels, etc. We entered Keri's contests BEFORE she joined the Real Deal. If you don't like the pictures then fine but she has won alot with them recently and we are very happy and her wins have nothing to do with Keri. The other day on bravo there was some discussion about directors misleading future contestants by advertising "low entries", so I thought I would voice my opinion on this.
Low entries isn't a certain number. It's a certain number per a certain photo contest. To me, low entries is any number under the number of entries needed for a director to break even. Because without reaching a certain number they will lose money, therefore I think they can advertise "low entries".
If a contest awards $250 cash and costs $10, then to me low entries is under 25 contestants. If they award $500 cash and charge $25, then low entries is under 20 contestants and so on.
I don't think it's fair to call directors dishonest because they advertise low entries and end up with alot of contestants. Anyone who runs a contest or enters alot of photo contests knows that most contestants wait until the last day or two enter. I'm not quite sure why most enter at the last minute, but they do (even in those contests that don't show contestants until after the deadline).
I guess, what I wanted to say was to those who think directors falsy advertise by saying "low entries" to look at how much cash they pay out and what they charge and to figure where they break even, entries below that number can fairly be considered "low entries".

Picture "Perfect" is the one that stole features from a child's T&M photos, pasted them on the same child's proofs from another photographer (proofs that were entered in one of their contests) and claimed that thing as their own work. Not once, but THREE times.

Stop taking people for fools. "Alvina" said below she tried to PROTECT THE CHILD'S MOM by posting huge banners in an attempt to make the picture perfect photos scroll down. Yeah right. Do you think we're stupid ??

Well, I am from the north and from my understanding, Dynamic Duo is not NES. NES is NES. Dynamic Duo is simply an event you can enter if you choose to do so at NES. It's an optional and not everyone has to even enter it, it's not the name of the pageant. Hello ladies, NES is the name of the pageant, right? Please stop this nonsense. If YOU are not the director of NES then why do YOU have such a problem with this? And I personally do not think you are the director of NES, I think she's a good enough person to e-mail this director if she had such a problem with this photo contest. I am the director of NES and I spoke with Kerri (she emailed me) and I personally have no problem with the name of her contest, so I am not sure why you do or would bring my pageant into this conversation. Dynamic Duo is just an event at NES that I am sure exists at other pageants. I think "Dynamic Duo" is a great name for a photo contest and told Kerri that, so please stop using NES as an excuse for any problems you may have with this contest or director and contact her directly!! Anyone who runs a contest or enters alot of photo contests knows that most contestants wait until the last day or two enter. I'm not quite sure why most enter at the last minute, but they do (even in those contests that don't show contestants until after the deadline).
I guess, what I wanted to say was to those who think directors falsy advertise by saying "low entries" to look at how much cash they pay out and what they charge and to figure where they break even, entries below that number can fairly be considered "low entries".

PHOTOS BY JEN is the same person as PICTURE PERFECT PHOTOGRAPHY, aka Pink Flamingo aka Alvina aka Jennifer.

Picture "Perfect" is the one that stole features from a child's T&M photos, pasted them on the same child's proofs from another photographer (proofs that were entered in one of their contests) and claimed that thing as their own work. Not once, but THREE times.

Stop taking people for fools. "Alvina" said below she tried to PROTECT THE CHILD'S MOM by posting huge banners in an attempt to make the picture perfect photos scroll down. Yeah right. Do you think we're stupid ??

My thoughts on directors advertising "low entries" -- Anonymous, 10:13:49 07/09/03 Wed

The other day on bravo there was some discussion about directors misleading future contestants by advertising "low entries", so I thought I would voice my opinion on this.
Low entries isn't a certain number. It's a certain number per a certain photo contest. To me, low entries is any number under the number of entries needed for a director to break even. Because without reaching a certain number they will lose money, therefore I think they can advertise "low entries".
If a contest awards $250 cash and costs $10, then to me low entries is under 25 contestants. If they award $500 cash and charge $25, then low entries is under 20 contestants and so on.
I don't think it's fair to call directors dishonest because they advertise low entries and end up with alot of contestants. New to this too and to be perfectly honest I've never heard of NES and Dynamic Duo. So I would not have associated the online contest with NES if someone had not brought it to my attention. So I really do not think it is a big deal.

Well, I am from the north and from my understanding, Dynamic Duo is not NES. NES is NES. Dynamic Duo is simply an event you can enter if you choose to do so at NES. It's an optional and not everyone has to even enter it, it's not the name of the pageant. Hello ladies, NES is the name of the pageant, right? Please stop this nonsense. If YOU are not the director of NES then why do YOU have such a problem with this? And I personally do not think you are the director of NES, I think she's a good enough person to e-mail this director if she had such a problem with this photo contest. But to whoever started this mess, I want to thank you, because if not for you, I would have paid it no mind. However, no that you've got my attention, I have found a partner and we are entering now. I haven't noticed this director copying anyone but I have noticed her being copied. So maybe you are just mistaken. If you are so sure, please explain. I was just looking at her Jackpot contest the other day and another Jackpot contest that had came out that was almost identical. Now how's that for being copied? I am the director of NES and I spoke with Kerri (she emailed me) and I personally have no problem with the name of her contest, so I am not sure why you do or would bring my pageant into this conversation. Dynamic Duo is just an event at NES that I am sure exists at other pageants. I think "Dynamic Duo" is a great name for a photo contest and told Kerri that, so please stop using NES as an excuse for any problems you may have with this contest or director and contact her directly!! If you would like a list of the wins my daughter has had in the past few months please email me directly. She has won or placed or been an optional winner in MANY contests since she got her new pictures. We are very pleased with the new photos and apparently the judges have been too. She has won supreme or division or optional titles in "The", Darling Images, Most Beautiful Faces, Starquest, Dolls For Dolls, Rainbow, Supermodels, etc. We entered Keri's contests BEFORE she joined the Real Deal. If you don't like the pictures then fine but she has won alot with them recently and we are very happy and her wins have nothing to do with Keri. The picture is not top notch. The hair fall does not even match in color to her real hair that is very obviously sticking out and not covered in the picture.
If you enter so many times the director feels sorry for you and lets you win? If you pay enough in and know enough of the judges, you will win?

We have never entered and this proves why we will never enter.

Any real judge would have never scored this photo high enough to win. Point blank.

Ok I agree 100%. Brittani is a gorgeous little girl, and her T/Ms are awesome but anyone can plainly see that that photo flat out sucks. Sorry but the retouching is terrible, I saw on bravo where it said there was hardly any retouching and I think that is BS, no one looks like playdough naturally. I don't know what all the hype is about billy the kid pics cuz I think they suck, they all look like playdough splattered on there with eyes, nose and mouth painted on.

On the other hand, Congrats to Brittani, you are a beautiful child and we are happy you won...just not with that pic.

Just a thought. BC does alot of Dawn's contests and usually does very well in them. She always signs C's banners (Dawn's son)and recently one of BC's banners was signed "Congrats to my future wife" love C. BC's mom obviously knows Dawn on a personal level. I think the child is pretty and I don't think people should bash her the way they do (rivalry?) but I do think it would be a wise idea for her mom to not enter contests where she knows the director on a personal level. It would save some of the bashing I think. BTW this goes for everyone, I don't think it's wise to enter a friend's contest.

I'm not sure what you mean in "doing very well in them", since Brittani entered Diamond Doll every single month since it opened and hasnt won once.. How many months is that ? I dont think she has ever won the big Supreme in Dolls for Dolls either.

As for them being "on a personal level" you must be joking right ? I know both of them and they've seen each other about 3 times, a year ago. Some personal level it is.

We see coaches entering their student's contests, or the other way around, and photographers entering their own daughters against their clients now THAT is COI.

I will never enter this contest because this month shows me that the judges are not qualified. No way did Stephanie or any of 5 I can name not win the grand. I don't even like the other 2 mini winners. The grand is not a good photo. It is her her best, it is not pleasing colors, and she is not looking at the camera. She is a pretty girl but this photo should not have beat ALL those entered. Something is very fishy about this one and I do not trust this contest or its owner.

Yes she has and while I am sure they just wanted to give her back all the money she has spent with them, this photo did not deserve to win at all. It is not good. Maybe her mom will take all that money and instead of entering 500 pics in all the contests this month, go get some decent photos. The kid has the ability, but mom has to get some taste. Go buy some cute clothes in little girl colors that match and coordinate, and compliment her. And then go to someone who can take a good pic. Oh and make her look at the camera some while you are there. Good luck.

This photo is one of the best she's ever had. For the first time she's not covered in bows and dots, her smile is genuine, energic and appealing and THAT is why it won.

If her T&M pictures had won there wouldnt have been such a mess, yes the BTK photo is less than perfect but if you look at the minis it's obvious the judges didnt count off for "bad" retouching.

I am sorry but her T&Ms are much better! Her skin in that BTK photo looks nasty. She is a gorgeous little girl and that smile is awesome and that pic could have been one of the best out there but that retoucher blew it to pieces with that play dough looking skin and drawn on eyebrows. That child does not need all that. I also agree that she did need to be looking into the camera to win a contest such as MDF. Never entered it and not sure I will now either.

Her T&M have never won (besides LMV) because they are overdone especially for a toddler. The retouching on the BTK is far from perfect but at least she doesnt look like a 20 year old midget on it.

They have lost every big contest they were ever entered in. TDF - MDF - BFI, several times. Didnt even place in OYBD until the 3rd time.

My thoughts on directors advertising "low entries" -- Anonymous, 10:13:49 07/09/03 Wed

The other day on bravo there was some discussion about directors misleading future contestants by advertising "low entries", so I thought I would voice my opinion on this.
Low entries isn't a certain number. It's a certain number per a certain photo contest. To me, low entries is any number under the number of entries needed for a director to break even. Because without reaching a certain number they will lose money, therefore I think they can advertise "low entries".
If a contest awards $250 cash and costs $10, then to me low entries is under 25 contestants. If they award $500 cash and charge $25, then low entries is under 20 contestants and so on.
I don't think it's fair to call directors dishonest because they advertise low entries and end up with alot of contestants. Anyone who runs a contest or enters alot of photo contests knows that most contestants wait until the last day or two enter. I'm not quite sure why most enter at the last minute, but they do (even in those contests that don't show contestants until after the deadline).
I guess, what I wanted to say was to those who think directors falsy advertise by saying "low entries" to look at how much cash they pay out and what they charge and to figure where they break even, entries below that number can fairly be considered "low entries".

0-2: KelsieA, this is such a great pic for one so young, so age appropriate and the child is too cute. I also like ChloeA who is a cutie pie too but her eye contact is off. I think it will be between these 2 for the group but overall I like KelsieA best for this group.

3-6: GretchenA, not crazy about her hair, but her face is beautiful and overall my choice for this group.

6-10: AndiA, beautiful pic of a beautiful girl. I also like CrystalL but cannot get past the other pictures that look like another child, think she would have been better off not entering the other pics. I like Alexandra but do not like how you can see white below her eyeball, I don't like this on any pic. I think the Grand should come from this group.

11-14: RachelA, only girl entered but I like this pic best out of all her pics.

15up: JustinaK, pretty girl and while there are others I also liked, Tabitha & Melissa, I choose Justina for this group based on overall appeal, the retouching, etc.

boys: JacobC, what a total cutie he is. I think Bryce will be a close 2nd but Jacob is my pick for this group.

I can't even get into the overalls, lol, but I did my best unbiased opinion of the groups. I hope I didn't offend anyone in my predictions, they are just that, my opinion. Good Luck to all you beautiful girls and handsome boys.

Once again, it was not my intention to offend anyone. I was predicting honestly and respectfully and also gave reasons as to why I picked who and what I did in each group. I think there are probably several more girls that used only their own hair for their shoot as well. The comment had nothing to do with the hair itself, I just don't care for the style. IMHO a better style could have been done without fake hair too.

Okay I am very confused. I was looking over a photo contest recently and saw this one entry that I decided was the most unatractive kid I had ever seen. I assumed she had to be a pretty girl in person, but these pics were just awful on her poor little face. She was the most facially ungifted child in the contest and I wondered what made her mom enter her in such a large, tough, facial contest. I judged it myself just to see how it might play out, and she was LAST among the 20(?) girls. I see a banner on Bravo now that she won the grand in that contest. I will not say which contest because I would never point a finger at someone, but I can see now that these contests are not what they are cracked up to be. It does not matter if you have the best pics, and it does not matter if you have the prettiest face. It is whoever the owner decides to let win of all her friends that entered. I think they take turns and even trade out wins. That is obvious to me now after what I have seen happen in the last 2 months of the so called FACIAL contests. YOU CANNOT HAVE A FACIAL CONTEST AND NOT HAVE THE MOST FACIAL CHILD WIN WITHOUT BEING OBVIOUS that you cheated. You either have a cute, or pretty face, or you don't, and don't should NEVER win. AND when the child wins that you have LAST in the whole contest, that is the most obvious of all, and I saw that in several "facial" contests lately.

I know what child you are speaking about. She has won a few big ones - and personally I DON'T GET IT!. She has even won OYBD. I am amazed- she even beats out some of the most facially beautiful children. I don know this her mother owns 2 or 3 onlines and a pageant - I personally think that's why she wins!

I was so in hopes that it would not come to this, but after asking for two simple things only one was completed and I thank you, Jackie, for that! However, the photo has not been removed so here goes:

I have never posted on a board about Glitz r us and their work. I have been asked by some people and all I would tell them is that they needed to see for themselves.
We placed an order with Glitz R us back on the 17th of April. I was told that the dress would be finished by June 1st. So we arranged for a pageant that following weekend! I paid $300.00 on the 17th of April and was told that the rest would be needed at a later date. I was told that there would be a dress fitting before the stones were applied....no fitting. I was sent photos of the dress and the sleeves were all wrong. So they sent it back to the seamstress to get fixed and then was going to add to the delivery date. For a mistake that was not mine. Well I sent the remainder of the payment in May for $150.00. We went back and forth on the delivery date and price was to include dress with bustle, headband, and chocker. Well we finally received the dress on June 5th, one day before we had the pageant (that had already been paid for). When I received the dress there were more stones in the box than on the dress, there wasn't a chocker, shell was not that great of quality, and when I asked where the money went the explination did not add up to what was on the dress. I myself counted every stone on the dress and in the box!! LOL I emailed her with my concerns and got a reply starting with "what the hell are you talking about!" To me this was poor business and language that was uncalled for. We kept emailing back and forth for approximatley 14 emails. I finally realized that I was not going to get anywhere with this lady so started trying to work on the dress myself. She offered for me to send the dress back and she would return my money for and when she sold the dress her self!!! I was told on June 14th that the chocker would be mailed when she got back into town!!! Must be a long trip because we still do not have our chocker!!!! Then I was told on July 12th that "WENT OUT THIS MORNING!" Today is August the 24th and I am still getting excuses like we ran out of stones, etc. I emailed on the 8th of August and she said "I AM MAKING IT AS WE SPEAK!" She also offered to make my daughter a free swimsuit or casual wear on this same date! That was the last we heard of that until this morning on this board!!
You can imagine the shock that I received when I started reading this board this morning!! What a person it must take to pull an innocent child into this mess. This was so uncalled for and I felt that I needed to explain the situation. I have all 81 emails from Glitz r us to back up everything stated here!! Like how much is a photo shoot and how much are proofs and enlargements? How many looks do you get and how much is each additional look?

I like some of their pictures. I also like Toni's but hers have this either really yellow skin tone or the eyes look red to me, like visine should have been used.
