Victoria and Kassie are the only 2 I recognize from the list that are entered, and Victoria's mom admitted it was an oversight and she is no longer entered. And I believe that Kassie hasn't won that much online and pageants don't count.

I loved the idea of this contest however it looks like this is gonna start a new witch's hunt with a bunch of "well meaning" moms that just KNOW these kids have won more than $250, but just cant remember where.. maybe because in most cases it never happened ?

That is BS. I know my own daughter has won more than $250 and I can't remember where. All I know is she can't enter. I can't for the life of me remember which contests she won what amount of money. I know how much the contests give now, but some of them give more than they used to, and some give less.

My Lord! I have sat and watched your stupid ass BS for months. I won't even say I'm sorry for what I'm about to say because I mean every word of it!!!! It's sooooooo beyond obvious that you do indeed have something personal against this director and I really don't give a crap how many times you try to deny it. We can all read between your lines my dear and you are more than obvious. For the record, I have had occasion to deal with this director during her various contests while entering my daughter and she has won and lost her fair share, but at no time did I ever consider it less than fair. You say you've been involved for 5 years? Sorry hon, we've been at it for 7 now and the "Jackpot" contest you are referring to must not have been worth a dime because I had never heard of it until you mentioned it and even if I had, what exactly is your problem.... You said yourself that was over FIVE years ago!!!!! This directors Jackpot photo contest is the first, most recent contest that has been decently successful whether you want to admit it or not. Since you started on your little tirade with this director I have been watching things a bit more closely and since we are talking about copying, I believe there has been 3 maybe 4 that have copied her, so why are you not up on that soap box preaching to them???????? If you can't get your spill right on your box then hon it's time to come on down and let a real woman handle it. If you would like the urls to those contests, I will get back with you on them, that is, if they have not already bombed out. You see, the ONLY difference in them and this directors is that she gave all the money back into the contest where all the others only gave back half. Duh! Wake up and stop being such a sniveling little bitch and get some back bone and take your crap up with this director in private because I am sick and tired of you trying to start crap every damn month. I have no idea where this child lives, I only know she lives in the north. LEAVE HER ALONE Already!! My judges are NOT all from NY. The 3 contests that this child won, had a total of NINE DIFFERENT Judges, 1 of those judges was from the state of NY, and I highly doubt that he knew this child as he is a LOCAL photographer. And guess what that judge ONLY judged my FREE contest that month.

Again take your problems out on ME, NOT This child. I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

If you would like a list of the wins my daughter has had in the past few months please email me directly. She has won or placed or been an optional winner in MANY contests since she got her new pictures. We are very pleased with the new photos and apparently the judges have been too. She has won supreme or division or optional titles in "The", Darling Images, Most Beautiful Faces, Starquest, Dolls For Dolls, Rainbow, Supermodels, etc. We entered Keri's contests BEFORE she joined the Real Deal. If you don't like the pictures then fine but she has won alot with them recently and we are very happy and her wins have nothing to do with Keri. THANK YOU TONI OVERBY for the beautiful new pictures and thank you to all the photo contest directors we have had the pleasure of being part of!

I think you are right about Stunning I think it only had AM and HD as winners and then went sour. Anyone know what happened. I did see where AM posted about getting her $$$$$ and I know if HD had not her daddies would have been hot enough to let everyone know. That contest could have been a good one and we planned to enter with our new pictures.

My thoughts on directors advertising "low entries" -- Anonymous, 10:13:49 07/09/03 Wed

The other day on bravo there was some discussion about directors misleading future contestants by advertising "low entries", so I thought I would voice my opinion on this.
Low entries isn't a certain number. It's a certain number per a certain photo contest. To me, low entries is any number under the number of entries needed for a director to break even. Because without reaching a certain number they will lose money, therefore I think they can advertise "low entries".
If a contest awards $250 cash and costs $10, then to me low entries is under 25 contestants. If they award $500 cash and charge $25, then low entries is under 20 contestants and so on.
I don't think it's fair to call directors dishonest because they advertise low entries and end up with alot of contestants. Anyone who runs a contest or enters alot of photo contests knows that most contestants wait until the last day or two enter. I'm not quite sure why most enter at the last minute, but they do (even in those contests that don't show contestants until after the deadline).
I guess, what I wanted to say was to those who think directors falsy advertise by saying "low entries" to look at how much cash they pay out and what they charge and to figure where they break even, entries below that number can fairly be considered "low entries".

No, everyone has to have some type of touchups because photos are required to be un naturally perfect now. They must look like a painting or they won't win.

I don't think this post is very fair to the moms who entered their kids into this contest and got ripped off. LMV is the one to blame here, not the parents who entered and didn't get the prizes they were promised. Most (like myself) believed that it was a fluke and just an oversight. The parents of the LMV winners are NOT to blame for the wrong doings of the LMV director. Put the blame on the right person.

I'm sorry I don't think BC is all that. This is not a bash to the child in ANYWAY. She is a pretty "pretty" not Gorgeous child. I think her photo's are very over rated. I think that there are other children that are more facially gifted out there. I'm sorry I just don't see her photo's winning as much of her mother would keep her nose out of things.

The reason why this child is getting bashed is her MOTHER.
Not only does she have a lousy attitude when she loses contests, but (and that's how it all started) she used to lie about her daughter's age when she entered her in pageants. I don't like Lorinda either, but who's wrong here ? The mom who entered her kid saying she was 2 years younger than she really was, or the one who caught and exposed it ?

When you lie about things like that there is a price to pay. It's just unfortunate her child is the one paying. Yes I know it's been a while since that happened but the mom never showed ANY remorse, instead she put all the blame on the persons who exposed her.

ya know, if your going to come to a public board and post on this subject, you should perhaps at least TRY to post the truth. It was 1 year not 2 and lasted for about 8 months. No, she was not caught and exposed, but that was long ago. You should move on, really. Lousy Attitude? This one makes me laugh, she is nothing but supportive of all the kids and does what she can to help anyone. I have never seen her throw a fit after not winning a pageant or photo contest. Remorse, do you even know what it means? She told everyone including people she never even layed eyes on that she was extreamly sorry and would do what she had to do to fix it, and as far as I know, she did just that. I met her, after the fact, and she never placed blame on anyone but herself. I think you have an axe to grind and need to move on. It has been a long time. YES I know who she is! She is a lovely, funny, intelligent little girl who is 8 years old and will turn 9 this July. Her mother did something NOT her and it was FOUR years ago. After being honest and returning ALL prize money and titles she put her in her REAL age group and you know what? SHE KEPT WINNING! Thats what burns some of these momma's! They put her down for lying (which she shouldn't have done but its over now) and then they put her down for winning. She hasn't competed much in the past year but I just saw her a few weeks ago at a pageant and she still has it! Personality plus and the face to go with it!

Her mom entered my contest several times last year, when winners were posted and she didnt win she would post congratulations on the bravo board then email me and say, How could this photo beat ours ? Your contest is rigged, This child does not hold a candle to my child, where do you get your judges....

I hate that kind of doublefaced people ! And if she got lied and got caught too bad she shouldnt have been lying in the first place. That has nothing to do with the child. Who cares if people do it now, what matters is she did, and that shows what kind of values she has.

I don't know who BC is but it is under a prediction and only one child has a name that starts with a "B" so I went and looked and maybe she's not all that but in this contest she is. She is a pretty little girl with personality and while her photos may not always be the best, this time they are. Her photos are by far the best in that group and she is my choice for the win. If she ever deserved a win it is this one. She is overall the total package hands down winner IMO. Sounds to me like whoever posted that about her has a child in her group.

What bothers people about T&M is not the photo quality - yes their photos are very good and they do win a lot, but they depend a lot on their retoucher (so much, that they had to buy him so he wouldnt work for others). They have also copied photos/looks and believe me, when you pay $1000 for 2 prints and end up at the pageant to see 8 other kids with the exact same photo you are NOT happy.
This is not a one time occurence, this has happened to many, many moms who rarely have the guts to speak out.

Because what we moms hate about T&M is their attitude. They have thrown fits (and trophies) in ballrooms when their child didnt win, they have bashed kids on the web and at pageants, they have made up rumors about directors and parents they do not like, they made parents sign up for a pageant that was on the same date as theirs, instructing them to pull out at the very last minute so that the director would not be able to pay her winners... that's just a few of the REAL thing that they do. They will make your life HELL - literally - if you dare say anything that is not a praise about them. They will bash your kid on Bravo because their "friend" Missi DiGianni owns it and they can post whatever they want on it and not get banned.

Not to mention rig pageants for their clients.. you'll see in a couple weeks just how bad they can get.

In the 5 years they have been taking your child's pictures, they've had ample time to brainwash you.
Fortunately, some of us can see the real faces of Troy and Michael and they are not "fabulous".

Your original T&M pics probably won't stay original for long.. they're known for copying photos from A to Z for several children. Been there, done that. Worked my ass off to come up with a new original idea just to find it all around the US within a couple weeks.
And Troy, there's no need to email me again your threats. I will not "get over it" as I paid $2000 for photos I was NEVER able to use in my state or in contests, because by the time I got the finished prints, YOU had copied them for a dozen other kids without even checking if they were in the same age group or competed in the same states !

ONE OF THE GRANDS LAST YEAR WAS HD, BUT THE OTHER WAS THO BIG PET AND THE ONLY CONTEST I REMEMBER SEEING HER ENTER. After all the hoopla about Toni pics only winning, then the grand was one of each. Yes some TM pics can win every now and then but the majority of MDF is THO. Just like the majority of BFI are Troys. I don't know what you are talking about. I have only seen 2 big eyed kids and they are not bug eyed, just BIG eyed. They can't help it their eyes are just oversized but it sure must get them some big wins at pageants. They are the only kids that the judges sure see their eyes all the way from the stage. One only wins beauty/photo and overall beauty titles, but the other one wins grands all over the place. Both do well in online contests too. One is light blond and one is dark blond so you can guess who I am talking about. As far as the BUG eyed kids you talk about, I have not a clue who you are referring to.

I think that when people say a certain thing is "in" or "out" in pics that it is just silly. I don't care what a child is wearing, if she is beautiful and photogenic the pic can still win. Hats or no hats, beautiful is beautiful and photogenic is photogenic!

But, would like to say that my child isn't competing at this time, but still likes to enter photo contests occasionally and we do use photos that are 1-2 years old. So, maybe she is one that you are referring to, LOL! But, when she isn't competing it's silly to get photos every 6 months if she doesn't need to. So, maybe the photos you are referring to are in the same predicament. And heck, I always heard as long as a photo is still winning, why retire it, LOL!!@

Not sure why Dawn is being singled out. If you are going to complain about board hogging, then do it about every director and not just one. There are several on Bravo that have more than 5 banners posted at a single time, yet, you are only complaining about one director. This leads me (and probably others) to suspect that this isn't about the banners at all, but that the original poster has a personal problem with Dawn. Dawn's contests are very successful and if what it takes is constant posting of banners, then I don't blame her. I think all photo contest directors would like to get the number of entries each month that she receives. I know I sure would!

Since the basher seems to have moved on to someone else can we move on too. I know we can't see contestants for this contest but I thought it would be kind of fun to see who everyone thought might pair up for this one. Any ideas?

She won Supermodels last month, is that fishy? I just saw her picture on THE banner, is that one fixed? Should we avoid contests where she wins? Someone has a BIG problem with Keri, Georgie and the Real Deal I think! Whoever you are, the bashing needs to stop, you are being a baby!

OK we got it already. She has won and won tons of contests. Lets move along now all of you. And before you start posting to me like I am in this, I have not posted on the subject of these people as I know none of them. You all just keep bringing it up and then complain because people keep posting.

I have judged for her many times and her contests are always tough. She has never in any way tried to sway my opinion and leaves all decisions totally up to me. She is very professional in every way and what I have read here about her is just silly. I for one stand by her and confess that she has perhaps the only honest contests left.

First we had a photo contest online, now we have how many? First we had one that gave away $250, now we have how many that give away that and more? First we had one free contest, now we have how many? Why are you not bashing everyone? Also, I don't think Keri has a pageant so everything you just said about her copying NES means nothing. And, tons of pageants have a duo thing now so who cares? BUT CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, KERI'S CONTEST IS THE FIRST, I REPEAT...F I R S T ONLINE DUO PHOTO CONTEST. What part of all this don't you understand? If she is the 1st one to do a photo contest for duos online, then she copied NO ONE!
