Hello, my name is Sonya.

I live in the Southern United States and am a Mother of four beautiful children and grandmother of a precious five year old girl. I'm a stay at home/work from home Momma and have a husband who was my childhood sweetheart. I've been married to him for eighteen years. As I said, we have four children and a grandchild. Our oldest daughter is adopted. She and I met last summer and we ended up taking her and her daughter in. She was twenty-three at the time. She is married to a wonderful man who is currently serving overseas. Neither she nor her husband have any other family. At the time we met she was struggling and we opened our home and hearts to her and her baby girl. Over the next few months, she became part of the family and we officially with her husband's consent officially adopted her in December of last year. Next is my oldest son, he will be fifteen in July, My youngest daughter is twelve and my Mini-me in more ways than I can count and my youngest son is ten.

I grew up the oldest of three in a Christian home and had the most awesome Momma and Daddy in the world. They were strict when they had to be but always loving and supportive of us. I can honestly say, I got my fair share of bare butt spankings from both Momma and Daddy (mostly Momma) from the age of four until three days after my eighteenth birthday. As far as my own children are concerned. I try to be the same kind of parent that Momma and Daddy were, instilling the values I grew up with and being loving and supportive of them. Yes I do spank them when needed but not as often as I got spanked growing up. When I spank it's the same way I got it, bare bottom over the knee. I haven't spanked my oldest, nor do I plan to ever try although I've threatened playfully to from time to time and there are a couple of times I've spanked my grandbaby but I prefer to leave that to my daughter when it's necessary which thankfully is pretty rare because she is such an angel.

Well that's it for now. I'm gonna check this forum out and see what direction things go and maybe I'll be sharing some of my experiences here.

If anybody has any questions for me, don't hesitate to ask. But there are a lot of forums out there where people get really gross in their discussions and I won't play those games.
