Although I never saw any of these paddles in stores, I know they had them in the 2000's-2010's some places, at least in Great Smoky. My aunt and uncle went on a trip to Great Smoky and returned with one as a gift for my parents.

Dad spanked us with it, but Mom not so much, She was pretty adamant that she did not think humor should be mixed with discipline. Whatever, us kids would have preferred the paddle, as we all agreed Mom's hairbrush was worse.

As a parent now, I agree with Mom on mixing humor and discipline. However, as a pro-discipline/spanking parent I sure with these paddles were sold as widely as they apparently used to be. I would like to see a greater acceptance of spanking these days.
