I'm the older sibling and I can say that the times I tried throwing that status around with my younger brother resulted in a red butt for me.

"Kids being kids" isn't really a justification for them bullying each other. The younger that behavior is disciplined out of them, the better.

Though some can be stubborn and just not get the memo (that was me).
