It makes me feel wonderful that she has as much love and respect for me as she does. I'm honored to have her as a daughter. I love her just as much as the three children I gave birth to. If anyone tried to tell me that she isn't mine, they'd have a helluva fight on their hands. She has had a very hard life. Like I said, her birth parents are Christion Nationalists and were very abusive towards her, especially her "father". Whenever she "disobeyed" their rules, she literally made her strip naked and beat her with a belt till she was black and blue. Hitting her on the back, legs, butt, wherever the belt landed. She wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend and all much less a black boyfriend. Her "parents" even tried to pick a man for her to be married off to. The man was one of her father's co-workers who was his age when she was sixteen years old. She told me she refused and he beat her terribly for defying him. Her father knocked hell out or her when she found out she was pregnant, and when they found out who the Daddy was, they told her to stay away from him and tried to force her to have an abortion. They didn't want a ...... in their family When she refused, they literally threw her out on the streets and disowned her. They've had nothing to do with her since. When I first met her, I knew she had been through it and was going through a very rough time, and talking to her that first day, I began to feel very protective of her. We connected. She and her daughter both started calling me Auntie Sonya, that first day. Now for the first time in her life, she has parents and grandparents who love her unconditionally and brothers and a sister who have looked on her as an older sister from the word go and as of December she is officially one of my children and I have a beautiful little grand daughter that I love with all my heart and spoil rotten. If you have any other questions Sweetie, please feel free to ask. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
