Ordinarily, I'd say that you should talk to the guy if you're getting definite signals from him. However, the big red flag is waving since he's getting married.

I'll say it again just in case you missed it: HE'S GETTING MARRIED!!

That puts the whole situation in a completely different light, and you have no business getting involved in his relationship with his future wife. If (and I say IF) he's really having feelings for you, then he's going to have to come to terms with them on his own with no help from you.

What are you thinking, woman?? I don't care how much you feel for him, he is off limits. If he really has feelings for you that are worth leaving her for, then he'll do it by himself. But until he comes right out and does soemthing overt, you owe it to him to not confuse matters. This isn't about how you feel, it's about the right thing to do.

To tell him anything while he's taken would be reckless, immature, and irresponsible. I'm sorry this sounds so harsh, because I really do feel for you; unrequited love is terribly hard to deal with. However, having been the cheated on wife, I can tell you that it hurts like hell. Take the moral high road and let him come to you if it's meant to be.

You know what you're contemplating is wrong, otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned that he was getting married. You're looking for someone to give you permission, and I, for one, refuse to accomodate you.

Sue Ellen
