Subject: I need her back!

Here is my problem...There is this girl who I have had a crush on since my sophmore year of high school. Just recently (7 years later) we have started talking and we decided to go on a date. At first I was very careful, I wasn't sure if I like her due to my crush in high school or if she was everything I wanted. So we made and date for a Sunday a week in advance. The week before the date we seemed to call each other alot and talk for hours and hours. They were some of the greates conversations I have ever had with someone. So a few days before our "official" date a few of her friends and my friends were going to a local pub and we decide to see each other early. Everything that night was awesome, her friends got along with me, my friends got along with her we had a great time. At the end of the night I took her home and she invited me up to see her place. We sat on the couch for a few hours and talked, then she kissed me. It was the best kiss ever. We talked and kissed more until it was very early in the morning and I decided to head home. We saw each other a few more times before our "date" and it was like being a couple. Her and I were great together! Finally we had our date and it was awesome. We spent the whole day together and talked about anything and everything including our future together. She did express that she was a little scared of things moving to fast and so was I. But everything felt just right. At the end of the date we went back to her place and talked more and watched tv and then she asked if I would stay over for the night. Nothing sexual just stay with her. I did and in the morning we woke up together it was like we had been together for years instead of days. During the night we talked about our future together, even marriage (she brought up)which didn't scare me as much as I thought it would. By morning I knew in my heart she was the one and I was falling in love with her very fast. We kissed goodbye and went off to work/school. That was the last happy moment we had. While I was working that day and she was off at school and her ex called her and told her he just got out of a relationship and wanted her back. Now they this guy and my girl had been broken up over 4 months and that is all I knew. He told her everything she wanted to hear and she fell for it. At the end of the day I called her to see if she wante dto get together, the answer I got was her crying her eyes out and not telling me anything. Later on i went over her apartment to find out what was wrong. She told me the story and that she was scared of how fast her and i were moving and that she might not be over her ex. I being the guy that I am, tried to win her back...I failed. Its now been two weeks and I'm depressed more then I have every been. She is now dating her ex and has not called me at all. She communicates through a mutual friend. Now, everyone is telling me to move on that there is nothing I can do right now and that there are plenty of fish in the sea. Well, screw that, she is the only "fish" I want, I know this to be true and I also know for my sources that she still has feelings for me. I want to know is there anything that I should be doing, anything I have missed, I have been silent until now, I'm ready to fight to get what I want. Any advice at all? I would appreciate it!
