Try agreeing on a signal that means "time out" so that when either you or he gives that signal, you will back off and interact with others while things cool down. You have a lot of emotion going on inside and he does too. That is good. And some call it love. But you need to start out sharing honest feelings and respecting them. If you know that you won't have to act in a way that you don't feel, the weekend will go a lot better for both of you. Honest expression of feelings will make you closer than anything else.
