Subject: Update on my situation

For those of you who do not know the story with me and my significant other so to speak I'll give you some background info regarding our relationship and then I'll give you an update. He moved to Montreal(where I'm from) from his hometown...I found him an apartment...he's been living here for about four months now...seen him only three times...haven't spoken to him for a month and a half. This is the short condensed version. Now for the update...
He recently called me he and I have not spoken to eachother for a month and a half. He tells me that he has decided to move back to his hometown and wants to see me before he leaves more specifically wants to cook me supper to thank me for everything I've done for him. As you can imagine I was quite surprised to hear from him I thought our relationship was over(seeing that he once said that if he were to break up with me he would not call)...so I assumed it was over...and now this happens. We have not officially broken up he and I haven't said anything to eachother...so what could this possibly mean? Personally i think it can go either way breakup for good or get back together...I'[m prepared for either situation(although I'm hoping it ends in a good way with us getting back together). I guess what I'm asking is your opinion seeing that I'm being biased...is this a good thing or bad? Honesty is appreciated thanx
