break up and move on. it seems like he used you because he needed a contact in montreal. he doesn't try to get to know you while he is there, now he is moving back out of town. his guilt for not being up front about his intentions has caused him to ask you out for a final goodbye.

since he never tried to make an effort to get to know you while he was in your area, he obviously is not interested in a relationship. you shpuld say goodbye to him and leave it at that. he doesn't have enough regard for your feelings to have been truthful from the beginning about his veiw of your relationship. it seems like your relationship never went to any new levels, and if i were you (because i am in a spiteful mood) let him know you dont care to visit with him for a goodbye because there are things you need to do that day with people who care about your existence in the world.

and what goes around comes around, so this will bite him you-know-where when karma rolls around.
