Subject: Please help- am going crazy

Am a not quite divorced yet 30 something year old woman from Australia who has fallen for a 40 something year old man from the USA. We both have children from previous relationships and although we've been discussing marriage etc, how on earth do we get this to work out?

Yes we've met in real life several times now & desperately want to be together permanently but how do we do this? My soon to be ex husband will not surrender custody of our 10 year old (and neither he should have to either). My USA man has an almost 5 yo daughter who he has main custody of, with his ex having visits every few weeks (her choice).

Do I give up my son for the love of this man and settle on visits from him every six months? Do I give up the man I love & perhaps the chance of a life time of happiness?

Right now we've both struggling with depression because our situation seems hopeless. All we can see is that we love each other.
