I’ve learned that ‘someone’, needs to be ‘in charge’,
of a group project, or it just goes to crap.

Anarchy does not work when more than one person is
involved in trying to get something done.

I am an Anarchist.

But, I can give orders and I can obey orders. The acceptance
of a ‘Boss’, is a voluntary thing, and a necessary thing. Without
a chain of responsibility, you get *too much* Chaos.


“ Deferred Responsibility “, as in Nobody in Charge, is a stupid,
uncomfortable situation, that no good leader would ever want to
happen. But, it happens sometimes, even with fairly good leaders.

It happened to me today, on the job. It was a situation where I needed
to take orders from a guy who was not comfortable giving them to me.
But, he was the only one who knew how to do what we were doing.
He *had* to be the ‘boss’, like it or not.

Situations like that have to be solved, because they are problems.

“ DR “ is not tolerable to me and just plain does not work well.
If I were faced with it often, I would change jobs.

I don’t work for stupid people.
