Just slagged off the Beautiful South for giving a "selection of insipid, mind-numbeing middle-of-the-road shite" which I described as "God-awful" and said that I'd prefer to listen to the "sound of me scratching it with my flatmate's Koch Messer knife." I'll bring a copy at Christmas. Only a month 'til I get back now!

Okay. It was just a throwaway joke based upon the fact that a lot of people at Cambridge appear to be posh. I'm saying that you're not posh, which is what makes it humourously ironic.
