He watches her depart, picturing her--with some pleasure--adorned with a dagger stuck to the hilt in her back. Ah, but such was not to be. He turned to the stranger, ordering another drink with a wave of a bejewelled hand. Still reserved he appraised the other, keeping options open, but not offering undue warmth, rakish attitude since dissipated. "Khiin," he replied abruptly. "Turf?" he repeated, one brow quirked. "mine. This city is rather pathetic," he continued with a shrug, "but be that as it may...."
