In reply to: Swordslash The Ferret Who Has Been Away For A Very Long Time 's message, "((OOC: Sorry... school kept me off the comp)) *bounces up and down on the edge of his chair* And?? Keep writing!!!" on 22:26:35 02/23/04 Mon

Al'Sheen'Al'Tamorac's eyes roared with the flames of anger at her words, but deep in his stomach he felt the cold bubble of fear begin to rise, icy and consuming. The setting sun as it dipped below the horizon caused his crown to glow more darkly, ruining and tainting teh evning rays. The sun also caused him to turn slightly, checking its descent. It was time. The bubble of fear popped and a tidal wave of terror surged inside him, but his face remained in a mask of anger.
Bwir's eyes glittered eagerly and the Dark Captain looked at him and nodded. Bwir's soft laugh was almost as hideous as the rasp of a needle being drawn, but Al'Sheen'Al'Tamorac had his back turned already, striding off to the low banked fire by the road's side. Grinfak's following scream seemed to follow him like the Stabnar at his shoulder.
The Stabnar was Larshin, if her size was anything to go by, she towered at least two heads taller than him, and glided smoothly, with a speed to quick to seem normal. "Did you make it already?" he snapped.
Her cowled head swung to look him in the eye. "Yes Dark Captain." her voice was a sibilant hiss, a whisper almost, but firm and tense, like the sound of a weapon being drawn from its scabbard.

You know, you write very well -- you should really keep on going, even if it takes you forever and a day to finish this story! ^_~ (NT)Kioko Maemi Mitsu19:12:20 03/01/04 Mon
