As I was telling before, was about Cody who had gone to the Redwall world and was trying to find a way back, but he had traveled for a long time but never found the wise creature who could help him, and so he and his friends built a hut and they lived in it.
But anyway back in the real world.

Cody's family was heartbroken that he disappeared no-one knew where he went, or if he was okay or not, they assumed he was dead, and mourned for him for a long time, Cody's nephew Thomas, loved cody but hadn't seen him since he was very little.
He wondered where he could be, or if he died or not, many assumed he ran away (mostly the people who hated his perents)
But Thomas knew somehow that he was alive, not knowing he actually was but just a gut feeling he had.
He looked out the window and saw a shooting star, his parents were out for the night and he was all alone, being eleven and they knowing how mature he was they decided to let him stay home alone for the night.
He made a wish that he could someday see Cody.

He fell asleep, and when he woke up...

He was still in his bedroom, usually in the morning he could smell bacon and eggs for breakfast wafting from the other room, but nothing... which was supposed to happen every saturday morning.
He looked around the house and his parents weren't even there.
He hoped they didn't get into any traffic trouble.
He looked out the window and his house was lying in the middle of a forest! (How in the world!?)
He opened the front door and walked outside, he knew a forest couldn't have grown overnight, and no force could move his house without someone noticing...
He decided to check the radio in his room the news might tell something.
He went to the radio turned it on, but nothing... just static.
He walked outside again, and thought he saw a shadow against one of the trees, he ran inside and up to his room for he was pretty scared, and he hid under the covers whistling.

He heard someone enter the front hall... maybe hopefully it was his parents, he waited not knowing wether to be scared or happy, (he was kinda both, but more scared)
He heard footsteps coming up the stairs, and they sounded soft, as if someone was wearing furry slippers.
The door opened, and a giant mouse was standing in the doorway.
AHHH!!!! thomas screamed.
AAAHHHHH!!!! the mouse screamed.
The mouse ran out of the house...
Thomas grabbed a baseball bat and hid under the covers more.
He looked out the window and saw the mouse again and he was talking to someone, not knowing who, because he was out of view, but the mouse sounded scared.

The young human was too frightened to move, for he knew mice carried decieses (SP?) of sorts, probably even giant mice were even more deadly.
He heard footsteps again, he yelled 'go away!'
The footsteps stopped.
A voice yelled out, 'Are you woodlander or vermin!?'
'I'm a human!'
The voice yelled out again.
'There was only one human around and he left many seasons ago!'
'I am a human! and please don't hurt me!'
A mouse opened the door,
'We won't hurt you,' my name is Bonton decendent of the first abbot who met a human!.'
The other mouse behind him was shivering.
'Don't let him hurt me sir, that big stick looks mighty dangerous!'
'Quiet Bloomfield, he wouldn't hurt anyone humans are just a legend I thought, but my greatgrandfather said they were friendly... so...'
The young human got out from under the covers...
'There are other humans here?'
'Well... one, but that was a long time ago.'
Thomas decided that maybe that human was cody, and decided to be strong, first he would show them his house, and maybe they would do something nice in return.

Killitha looked at the gates before her. She, her husband Shardja Quickslay, and their 1 season old kitt named Saih Darkeye, had come from a far away forest to live in Fort Lancepaw. She pulled the rope by the door gingerly, above her, she heard the clang of a bell, a moment later the gates swung open. A hare barred the entrance, speaking to her "What do the likes of ye want? Wot wot!" Shardja spoke up, "We want a safe place to rear our little Saih" Killitha unnwrapped her shawl from the bundle in her arms, showing the hare a small wildcatbabe, and pleaded in a soft voice "Please marm, we've travelled a long way to live here,
in safety. Our old home is many a days journey from here." Shardja joined in, "We are good wildcats, we are not at all evil!" The hare sighed, "Oh alright, ye may live here. By the way, my name is Lancepaw." Killitha smiled greatfuly as she walked through the gateway, "Our thanks to you marm!" Lancepaws laughed, "Hahahaha! Please, if you're going to stay, call me Lancepaw." Killitha, somewhat having a hard time not calling Lancepaw 'Marm' replied, blushing "Alright marm... I mean Lancepaw."

-2 Seasons later- Saih giggled as her father, Shardja, tickled her footpaws, " Heeheehahaha S'oppit! Dat tickwes!!" Shardja smiled down at her, how much she had grown since they had come to Lancepaws Fort 2 seasons back! She had been a tiny thing, only 1 season old, but she had surely grown! "Killitha, Killitha where are you?" Lancepaw called into the hot summer afternoon, she and Saihs' mother
Killitha, had become close friends, and Lancepaw was searching for her, suddenly a scream rent the air, it was
coming from just outside the gates. Lancepaw, and several other warriors raced towards the sound, when they arrived on the scene, they saw some ermine and foxes hurrying away, what they saw on the ground in front of the gates turned even the hardest warriors stomuch, a litter of 4 kitts, barely even dibbuns, had been slaughtered. Above them, on the walltop, a harsh wildcat cry loosed itself from Killitha's throat, causing Lancepaw to jump. Killitha had seen it all, and she was filled with hatered towards the vermin for murdering helpless babes, and for killing beasts of her own species. That night, she sharpened her throwing daggers, muttering under her breath "I am Killitha Deathbringer, none escape me." She left off for a minute, and walked over to an open window, then she shouted into the darkness "Do you hear that, vermin scum? None escape me, NONE!!!!" Then she went back to work, restringing her longbow, making new arrows, wetting her sword edge, sharpening her spearpoint and packing food into a large backpack. The only clothes she was taking with her, were the ones she would have on her back. When she was finished, she went to bed, and slept a fitful sleep. Next morn, she anounced that she was leaving, Lancepaw was very sorrowful that her friend was leaving, but there was a dangerous glint in Killitha's eyes, and Lancepaw knew that she could not be persuaded not to go, "Why!" Lancepaw observed "That wildcat wouldn't mind dying, just so that those poor little kits were avenged!" Shardja winked back a tear, he could not bear the thought of Saih growing up without a mother, but he was powerless to stop his wife from going. Before Killitha left, she sat down, lifted Saih onto her lap, and gave the kitt her dirk. Then, she whispered in the little ones ear, "Name it whatever you wish. One day you will be a brave warrior!" Then she kissed the 3 season old babe on the cheek, put her in Shardjas arms, hugged and kissed him goodbye, waved to everyone else, and finally set out on her journey, tracking the ermine, and foxes to who knows where. Leaving her precious Saih, and Shardja, behind.
(Yes, I'm the Saih in the story, if you feel that I ended the story to soon, and left you hanging, that's because I still haven't found out what happened to my mother after that. Without her, it wouldn't be much of a story. But when I find out what did happen to her, I will finish the story. Please tell me what you think!)

This is a series I'm writing. It's about a girl who slays demons for a living. I know you're thinking of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but they're not that similar (I hope!). It takes place in the distant future, and we're talking, like, 3004. No, it's not Japanese, I just like the titles of my stories to be in different languages. And, also, her name is Japanese (Ashita, it means tomorrow). In case you're wondering, or you don't speak Japanese, the title means "Demon Slayer". Wish me luck! Chapter one is in the first reply.

*bows* To you new people, I'm Jessie Oakshade, currently Fort Elder, but when I first came here, I held the position of Fort Storyteller. No, I wasn't fired, I resigned. Occasionally I come back to re-post my story, "If Rose had Lived", which might still be lurking in the archives. But I doubt it'll ever be finished.

I'm currently working on a new story, based on the site I've been going to for the past year, Redwall:Warlords. It's a pro-vermin story, so if you don't like to see an evil and sadistic warrior mouse, don't read it. But if you do want to see an evil and sadistic warrior mouse, I'm sorry, he only plays a big role in the first chapter.

'Tis a nice story though. I currently have no name for it, but I was so excited when I finished the first chapter today that I'm posting it everywhere I used to post my stories.

Feedback is strongly encouraged!!

Well, I was rooting around my old files (since I'm on break and have nothing else to do...;)), and look what I found! It's two years old, and kind of embarrasing in terms of style and such, but I don't have the time to revise it, as I am working on another story. So enjoy!

There once was a city, long ago, named, Ignall. In Ignall lived the bravest of the brave. The kindest of the kind. The smartest of the smart. There were all sorts of creatures living together in harmony.
Yarcks, for example were part dog and part human. Urffs were a cross between dragons and bulls. Opuss were both bird and human, to name but a few...
There were very rare races there also. Phees were aligator and squirrl. Impalls were the rarest of rare, Humans and elves, I know it isn't very special, but to the Ignall people, they were rare. The same with Harows. They were a cross between dwarf and elf.
A few Impalls and Harows would have changed lives after a year. One such Impall was, Thorin. Thorin was strong, smart, and usually kept to himself. His clothing was simple. A sword proof shirt under his rusty colored shirt. The same color applied with his pants. Black hair came down to his strong well built shoulders. Dark forbidding eyes were usually sharp and kind.
Another Impall was Fertill. Fertill had a light and carefree attitude. His clothes showed his personality. A pale blue cloak tied together with a green pendant before his neck, and a tan shirt. Baggy rusty colored pants hid his legs. Loose sandy hair tumbled to his neck. Blue eyes were always shining, and fun.
One Harows life would change too, Rosha. Rosha had a knack for swords, daggers, sabres, scmitinars, practicly anything with a blade. Her black hair was always braided, and soft brown eyes were always alert, even though hardly any emotions except for kindness showed in her eyes. If you even call kindness an emotion. Dark woodland colored clothes made her almost invisible in the woods. A cloak coverd in leaves was hardly ever off her.
One last persons life to change was a Harow named Argathall. She had dark brown clothes and a leafy cloak like Rosha. Short brown hair came to the bottom of her ears. Green eyes always shone compasion, love, and hate. Every kind of emotion was shone in the eyes.
Here's the story.

"Hello? Argathall? It's Rosha! Come out this inst-Aha!" Rosha raced after Argathall in a game of blend with the forest. Their green shoes made no noise whatsoever exept for the light rustle of leaves.
"Aarrrgggaaatthhhaaaalllll!"
"Rrrroooossssshhhhhaaaaaaa!"
"Oh, fiddle dum sticks." Rosha stopped and stood still, soon after, she wasn't visible to an ordinary observer. They had to look very closely to even ditect the shape of a Harow. Argathall did the same.
"Fit, frat, an' foddley dee!" Argathall whispered to her life long companion. "Th' prunes have been folowing us! Well, grab me cloak an' rob me food, those Impalls neva leave us alone long enough to play blend with th' forest."
"Yes, yes, Argathall. They have been our friends since, er, fifteen years ago. Lifelong companions, like we are."
"Yes, Rosha." A mischevios smile hovered on Argathall's lips. "Yes, companions need a little scarin once an' a while eh?"
"Hmmm..I suppose." Rosha and Argathall dissapeared from veiw without a trace.

"Oh, golly. That Rosha an' Argathall neva run out of energy, Thorin." Fertill plopped down on a rock, making a THWUNG noise.
"Ahhahahahah! Umamamama jarka tuta!"
"Urfanata weekarta fittlil faate! Marsellft!"
"Oh, come on, Rosha. You can do better than an Eparaka accent." Thorin insulted up into the trees.
"Oh, an' Argathall, it's, Urfrantara..not, Urfanata." Commented Fertill.
"Oh, come off it, Urgan language!" Rosha and Argathall jumped down out of the trees.
"Eparaka, Urgan, Yapa, an' Quettle Vince." Thorin commented.
Rosha rolled her eyes like all fifteen year olds do. "C'mon. Your fifteen an' smart as ur, Deiffa Baw."
"Deiffa Baw's an ole prune." Thorin snorted.
"Argathall, Urfrantara means supper, Urfanata means ate." Fertill stated.
"Pshaw! Eglazes could've 'eard tha' plop miles away, give-away-our-location-pants!"
The four friends would have stopped had they noticed the peircing yellow eyes surrounding them one by one.
"Urfagara! Suppa fa O Rogga" a scratchy low pitched voice called out so that the Impalls and Harows couldn't hear."Charge!"

Lying on my bed of leaves
Staring at the sky so blue
And bright with the sunlight
That covers my face like a blanket
Of wavering light.
The sky (though bright today),
Can be dark,
Cloudy, and
Gloomy as though crying.
I watch as the leaves twirl and float.
Drift on to the autumn ground,
Like wraiths among the wind.
And the wind wails that the
Brown,
Falling leaves,
Are almost gone.
A blowing breeze,
Soughs against my face,
Like a mother’s touch.
I stare into the green-brown depths,
That ripples like waves in the ocean.
A sapphire horizon,
And floating gently,
Diamond clouds.
With a ruby sun,
Staring at me -
Like the eye of a dragon,
Curled up
High in the sky.

It is claled "My True Friend"

My True Friend
I thank you for being a friend
Many people have treated me like dirt
Sometimes I feel that my life is at the end
I m both physically and mentally hurt

Many of my “friends” betrayed me
I would trust them at one point
But then they lock me in a cellar, and throw away the key
This would always be a turning point

You were always there for me
You tried to understand my pain
My trouble in my life is a great deal to me
Sometimes you helped me when I was lame

Now that you know all my secrets
I have trusted you more and more each day
You have even shared me one of your secrets
And they will remain secrets until our ending days

You have been there for me
I have never been there for you
I feel like you are taking care of me
Maybe I want to help you too

Some people say that friendship is not forever
They say we separate to a different place
But I know that our friendship is true
Because I will remain a friend to you

So what do you think? I thought it was allright.

A poem I wrote a long time ago, ahem:

In Redwall abbey one fine day
Two dibbuns ddecided to go and play
They played and they played and played in the wood
But didn't come home like good dibbuns should
Blinny the boy mole
And Wugger the girl
Saw a shadow and stayed right still
The dibbuns were lost
And starving and cold
They wanted to come home
To the Redwall of old
They started to cry and heard a faint hush
They saw Mother Mellus with a big scrub brush
So if you're lost in the woods
Don't be happy or laugh
'cause you might run into Mellus who will give you a bath.

Okay, you probably won't get this unless you watch InuYasha every Friday, like me, but it still is funny. It's a torture pit for Jaken and Fluffy (AKA Sesshoumaru, who I happen to like, but still funny). However, I cannot take credit for this, as I took it (WITH PERMISSION) from one of my fave sites. Now, who would you like to torture today???

*A new mouse to the fort enters the room, and the onlooker can immiediatly tell he is not of this land. Sinking gratefully into a chair close to the fire. Momentarily his eyes are closed, as he absorbs the warmth from the fire. Full, and tired from dancing, he intends to relax. For the winter season he is wearing this trousers and a vest, along with a coat that is currently hanging in the dorms. In his belt are a pair of spiked, leather gloves, but other than that he is not armed. His fur is a lightish brown, not quite golden, rough from wear yet still somewhat soft. He himself is rather skinny, due to travels, yet built well and slightly taller than the average mouse. He opens his eyes and looks about at the room, taking in his surroundings.*

This is just something that popped into my head one day, don't expect this to make sense.

Redwall...

A world written by man?
Do we share the same moon and stars?
The building with the sandstone walls, a tribute to peace... how long will it stand?
Is it a world written by one of us? or is our world written by one of them?
A dream of a man, whom wanted to share something with the world?
Mice, Badgers, Squirrels/Humans which is the superior?
Many people believe that they are just verminous and stupid animals, but compared to their own world who is smarter?
Does Redwall exist somewhere beyond the stars connected only by paper? or is it something more?
My rambling ends... Thank you.

This could either sound very interesting by some, or putrid garbage by others but I just wanted to see what you think.

“So young, yet so headstrong. She will be a mighty warrior someday,” Ferriff whispered as he watched Arion in her light slumber. Idela gently touched his shoulder. “It’s getting late. You heard Estel, the battle is tomorrow. I’m afraid Arion’s dream of being a journalist will have to wait.” He smiled, “I think she meant it to be a distraction for her, to give her something to do instead of worrying about Hephaestus.” Idela sighed and nodded, whispering, “Come on, we all need some rest.” As they both wandered off to bed, Tacroy listened to their distant footsteps with closed eyes. He finally opened them and stared at Arion’s angelic face, in a deep sleep. He wondered down in his heart what Idela and Ferriff had meant.

~Chapter Two~
J'quela, Lord of Genesu, sighed dispiritedly. The cold gray walls of the stone castle seemed to press in on him until he thought he'd scream. No bright tapestries here, no cushioned, soft couches. No lamps spreading their soft, golden light. Only a rough wooden bench for furnishings, a grille in the door for light. He sighed again, trying to get comfortable on the hard black bench. His unkempt brown hair flopped into his eyes over and over. No haircuts in the last six months, either.
The once-grand Lord Genesu, reduced to a shivering heap of messy hair, rags, and dirt on a prison bench. It was all her fault. Why didn't she accept the terms? He had to give her credit for bravery. She knew the traitors would be ousted by the people. He was haunted by the victorious smile on her ugly face as she leaped.
He heard a murmuring in the hallway outside, accompanied by the soft tramp of feet on the stone floors. A spasm of fear crossed his large face, pale from being locked in a dank cell for six months.
A face thrust itself into the little square of light. It was the face of Raccaru, the head conspirator in the last three plots. Sallow, with a dark, drooping head of black hair and a huge, bushy auburn beard, it was a face to inspire terror in the most stouthearted. And J'quela was far from having a stout heart.
He cowered down on the floor and begged, "Oh, Lord, great leader, I have always been your most faithful servant. I desire only life so that I may keep serving you!" he babbled.
"Silence." The word was spoken softly, but with a chill in it that warned of nothing but cold expediency within this man. His tone was flat and emotionless. The next words were spoken equally softly. "I am not going to execute you, for all you let the Queen escape. You know she is alive, in hiding somewhere. She had something there to break her fall, else she would not have leaped. You will find her- if you are capable of being trusted again." Raccaru turned on his heel and left, his footsteps echoing in the silent stone hall. Two guards marched behind him, holding swords like staves in front of them. They were the Queen's own former household guard.
Raccaru called from the spiral stone staircase in the same flat, cold, emotionless tone, "I will have that diadem, J'quela. I will have it!"
J'quela slowly got up off the cold, dirty floor. He did not know whether to feel relief or frustration. A chance! An impossible task!
~~~~~
A few intrepid people were searching among the Black Teeth by night as far as they safely could, hoping to find the Queen's body for an honorable burial. Torches were carried, for light could not penetrate very well into this grotesque maze of death. The flames glinted weirdly off the dully shining obsidian boulders. Their voices were distorted into melancholy ghost voices by the black stones. Every now and then one came upon old blood smeared on the rocks in a macabre parody of writing and art.
The loyal people searched for hours, but they found nothing but moldering old skeletons from years past. There was a chilling lack of even carrion creatures to disturb the bones.
You could well believe in ghosts here.
Everywhere in Sen'narithu people wondered. Where was the Queen?
Will I Live or Die?
Does death sound so sweet?
Being able to leave this cruel world
To go to the other side in a heartbeat
All I need to do is snap this cord
There is a bridge that I need to cross
I have to get to the other side
The death angel is the boss
I must cross and go to the deadly side
No one cares for me on the living side
Sure, I have friends but would they care?
I must awake and bid my goodbyes
I am sure that they would not even care
Over the bridge, I see light
It is a very pretty sight
This is it; I must go to it,
But why can I not reach it?
No No
Let me go
I want to leave this place
I want to go to my rightful place
Too many voices in my head
One says don’t go stay here instead
The other says come to your dying bed
My head hurts I just want to be dead
All the voices now stop
But one stays and speaks
Do not go, but stay on top,
Open your eyes take a peak
My head begins to ease
I can hear one voice
That friendly voice that pleases me
I have now made my final choice
My eyes open wide
The light hurts my eyes
To my surprise
I see all my friends cry
Do not worry I start to say
I’m hear to stay
Do not worry or pray
For I’m here to stay
I thought it was allright, my reading/LA teachers liked it. So did you guys like it? If you have any tips please tell me or do you know a way to make this poem better? All the help from you guys will be GREAT!
Out across the plain, near the horizon, something moved. Cae Verdegris shielded her eyes with a paw, trying to make out some shape within the approaching dustcloud. Then she dashed along the walltops toward the big warning drum.
Positioned on the roof of Garra Keep, it was used to pass along word of traveling caravans and incoming storms, as well as the marauding vermin bands that roamed the area, to the general populace.
Boom! Boom boom-boom-boom booooom! The squirrelmaid beat out the signal for “creatures approaching”, then whooped for joy and did a cartwheel. Another of the sentries, a male several seasons younger than Cae, looked at her quizzically. “Why’re ye so happy alluva sudden? Is there gonna be a battle?”
In answer, Cae did a triple backflip and landed on the battlemented wall. Grinning maniacally, she did a crazy little dance.
One of the older creatures, an otter named Trull, chuckled. “Ah, don’ worry, she ain’t gone off her rocker yet,” he explained to several nervous-looking recruits. “She does this ev’ry time there’s even half a chance that good-fer-nothin’ Torro lad’ll be visitin’. Now y’all go on back t’yer posts, else Her Royal Lovesickness will have ye booted offen th’ keep!”
Hawk, the young squirrel who had spoken up earlier, looked disappointed. Slouching back to his section of the wall, the teenager banged his spearbutt on the stones disgustedly. “When d’we get a real fight? I didn’t join up ‘ere t’stand round all day watchin’ a mouldy old tower fall t’bits under me paws, grain o’ sand by grain o’ sand. Where’s the glory in that, huh? Where’s the adventure? Where’re all o’ them big bad warlords and bloodthirsty vermin when ye want ‘em, that’s what I’d like t’know!”
*sighs* I was afraid this might happen. I have the next part to my new story (the one with Kib the ferret) and the thread's been bumped off the board. So here's a repost with the new part added on.
Well, I said I’d tell our story at our wedding, so here it goes!
Chapter 1
It was a cold winter morning. One of those winter mornings where you wish you were inside, having a cup of hot chocolate. I wasn’t. I was one of those fools, trekking outside, looking for a place to stay. Well, I was a lucky fool. Always had been. I found Salamandastron. Turns out I wasn’t the only lucky fool. Another squirrel like me was there. It was the great Salamandastron midwinters feast. The guests always go first, so I danced with Brufe (I thought you must have figured it out.). He is quit the dancing partner, you know.
Suddenly, one of the sentreys came thundering in. He addressed Lord Barktor (he’s the current badger lord) gasping, “M’Lud, vermin attacking us. Wanted some tucker. Sly they are, searats. Said they came from inland, but that didn’t fool me. Checked around back and there the key was, a humungous vessel. I nipped back around back to here that the searats just wanted food and an’ a place to rest. I shouted out ‘Hey, searat, if you want a place to eat an’ sleep, why don’t you turn around an’ go back to yer vessel. You don’t fool me!’ Then he yelled, ‘Game’s up! Show ya selves, mates!’ That’s when the trouble began. I was tolled to warn ya. Wacha gonna do?”
Brufe answered for the Bloodwrath filled badger lord. “Fight back!”
If battle's about, I will play no game,
Flies are annoying
Flies are annoying
They fly all around my bed
Then they land on my head
So I smack 'em till they're dead
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Bees are annoying
Bees are annoying
They make me scream an' run
SO I take out my Momma's shotgun
And shoot 'em till they're dead
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Wasps are annoying
Wasps are annoying
They really do like to sting me
So I don't say 'Hee hee hee'
And I don't kill 'em dead
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I am annoying
